So, what do you guys expect or want to see in Bond 23???

Maybe not all of these points but most of them would be nice. :woot:

Hehe - yeah, there are definately staples that we've seen over the years that would be worth re-exploring.

Re-introduce Moneypenny and the outer office.
Re-introduce Q (although I'd like to see them introduce him as Major Boothroyd) and the testing facility.
Give us a look at Bond's office and his home.
Alternate the DBS with the gorgeous new Lotus Evora (preferably white as a nod to the Lotus Espirit) and maybe even give him a Bentley Continental GT at some point as a nod to his old Bentley (or a SAAB if you want to nod to some of the books)
Lets have a ski sequence at some point.
Lets have a scuba sequence at some point.
How about an effort to establish a return of visually interesting and dangerous Bond villains?

Saw the news last night. Great to hear everything is offically a go on the film. Now I can't what to see what the film will be about. What characters will appear. And new casting additions.

Of those, I want Q, Moneypenny, and a snow sequence most.

have Q build him a snowman that fires bullets out of it's carrot nose, otherwise, it will be more ski shooting. edit: but, y'know, it might be good to actually have one that is very well done, instead of being shot on a filmed backdrop like moore, or boring like in inception.

I'm glad there is going to be another movie, but I'm not big on "re-introducing" stuff from previous films. I like where the series is now, it seems to be taking direct influence from Fleming and it really doesn't need extra adornments like Q, Moneypenny, gadgets, etc. Heck, how about having Bond drive a Bentley for once since that is his car?

He was mentioned in the press release.

I'm not too sure why so many people here (not talking about you SAAD) were worried that Daniel was gonna move on. He only did two Bond films with success (Sure Quantum wasn't that great but it made money)

I'm of the same mindset - never been worried about it.

Now that Bond is definately moving forward , there really can't be any reason for this movie not to suck ...storywise.
Work on the script continued as people were trying to solve the MGM problems. If i'm not mistaken , the script was finished or almost complete until the producers decided to halt production till everything at MGM was solved.

Unlike 2008 when several movies had gone into production with scripts that still needed work but couldn't done due to the writers strike , BOnd 23 doesn't have that problem.

Also i'm hoping that there will be less shakey cam this time around. I loved the action in Casino Royale. Definately a breath of fresh air compared to the bourne inspired shakey cam stuff we've gotten the past few years.

I want Freida Pinto to be a Bond girl.

I want Bond to make a nocturnal infiltration of a suspect's property, a la Thunderball.

I want him to win the villain's confidence, and possibly enter his employ.

I want Bond to spend a large section of the movie in England
I want a snow or underwater sequence
I want to see 007 team up with 008 to take down the villain
I want him to deal with an actual threat to the UK
I want Keeley Hawes to play Miss Moneypenny

I want a new Bond new actor.

No, really. I mean, I like Casino Royale ONLY as a good film, but Daniel Craig is really not Bond for me.
