Keeley Hawes is great, she's even done a sex tape that got leaked.

MGM is announcing that "BOND 23" is set to go into production in late 2011. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, together with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, the Co-Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., today announced that the 23rd James Bond film will have a worldwide release on November 9, 2012. Daniel Craig will be returning as the legendary British secret agent, with Sam Mendes directing a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan.

Glad they finally have a release date.

Excellent news! The whole MGM financial problem is solved now and it's great that Craig will return, Mendes is still onboard as the director and that the movie is coming out next year. :D

Fantastic news but a release date of the back end of 2012?? Seems ok in principle but when you really think about it, it's Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages away. With 11 months of qualified preproduction, not to mention the drafts and ideas that were conjured up before production shut down due to the mgm fiasco; the script better be bloody awesome. Also, being released on the series' 50th anny, they need to pull a massive rabbit out of the hat with this one. CR was awesome, QoS was underwhelming imo.

I dont recall that person ever being mentioned before, i thought it was Peter Morgan writing the script...

Morgan gave an interview back in the summer stating that whatever the outcome for MGM he wasn't coming back to finish what he'd written. Which I believe he said was half-way through his first draft.

At least it's got a release date set.

It could of taken forever to get this film underway so a 2012 release date works for me. As if that year couldn't get any better.

Great news. Craig is back and I can't wait to see what's next.

So glad we get to see craig as bond again. He's my favorite for the role by far and I'd be sad if quantum of solace was his last.

It would've sucked see his role end prematurely because of MGM troubles. At least Dalton had License to Kill. I'm glad that he's coming back.

Anyway, I'm really hoping for a one-shot moving instead of him continuously hunting down Quantum. What makes Bond succeed so long in film is not tying to the series down to any kind of strict continuity. I hope they continue that and I hope Blood Stone was a hint of Craig's Bond stories to come.

John Logan? Has he been mentioned before as the screenwriter?

First i've heard of him being on board, but his past work includes Gladiator, The Last Samurai and The Aviator. He's also attached to Hugo Cabret, which is set to be released this year.

The Last Samurai is one of my favorite films ever so this is good :woot:
