Bush held us back, ****ed up the country and handed it to Obama on a silver platter to fix. What a guy.![]()
I said he should be accountable for everything he's done. It's a collective effort of his administration that things the way they are now. And when Obama leaves, everything he does will be up to the next guy (or girl) to fix or continue. The cycle will go on.
No I wasn't answering your post in general, I was just finishing my point about the moron we lived through for the last eight years.
Well we don't have any factually incorrect opinions on this site, never saw one before..nope.....never...
And last time I looked.....we don't have an infraction for that either....
Hand Normy a kleenex
Which is why I'm against pardoning.Nixon got pardoned that's why. If he wasn't he would have most likely been punished in some form.
Except Clinton's biggest crime was never having sex in the Oval Office. Not even close.
Bush is not a War Criminal
and he has no business being prosecuted outside of giving San Fransisco liberals and college students with no real clue about the world something to high five about while watching Jon Stewart.
But its not just an extreme opinion, its an extreme opinion that is factually incorrect.
For example:
Ask yourself why we're upset about Bush. We're not discussing a president whose biggest crime was having sex in the Oval office.
Agreeing with this statement displays an ignorance of history, of facts.
The President's job ( and Obama will soon discover this ) is a THANKLESS job.
You're damned if you do something, damned if you don't do something, and damned if you do something but don't do it the way ppl want you to.
It's easy for all of us sitting on the outside looking in to critique, criticize, and complain, while playing monday morning quarterbacking with 20/20 hindsight.
We will never know firsthand the enormous weight and pressure that the President has to experience everyday on the job.
Each President will make decisions that he or she feels is right in his/her heart. Sometimes those decisions will prove to be very unpopular. But, history will be the ultimate judge on the true legacy of Bush's administration.
Now that Bush is out of office, I hope that all of the ppl who just love to bash bush and make fun of him will finally, finally be quiet and go away. It's over now. A new guy is in office. It's time to turn the page....
Bush held us back, ****ed up the country and handed it to Obama on a silver platter to fix. What a guy.
I've noticed that people who are extremely pro-guns are acting like America is over.
anyway.

Yes, how dare I want a political mod that knows what they are talking about.
Nice picture. Bush genuinely likes the Obama family from everything I've heard from him.![]()
To me it reads like you want one that agrees with you
Everyone is so touchy around here
If you criticise Obama, you get flamed. If you support Bush, you get flamed
Flame here. Flame there. Flame on!
So, I was 12 when W. was first elected. I didn't know anything about anything related to poltics. I was young, as many of us were (can we assume most hypsters are in high school or college?) 9/11 happened. It was a crazy, big deal. It changed everything fundamently on how we viewed our country.
When Afghanistan happened, I didn't know what to think. I was watching bombings live right in front of my eyes. It was awe-inspirising. I didn't know what to make of what I was seeing. Iraq began, I heard it was right. Then, I would hear things about lies, deception, deciet. Wtf crazy. I didn't pay enough attention in high school to everything that was going on. I was in high school, a teenager. Why should I give a ****? He was re-elected when I was 16, graduated at 17.
It didn't start until college did my opinions fully develop and mature to the point where I know what I really think of Bush. And that is: No matter what you do as President, whether be considered a mistake or a plus, you'll always be held as the one responsible. Granted, he made mistakes, his administration made mistakes. He should be held accountable to everything he's done good or bad.
The thing is, nothing Bush ever did affected me personally, I wasn't paying bills to the taxpayers that would use it for god knows what, trying to raise a family, attempt to survive in the economy. I was just living life, not knowing any better. The next few years as I actually take on my personal responsibility to manage my own life completely will I know the effects of the Bush administration and beyond through Obama. In the next 8 years or 4, I'll understand better with a different perspective on how the former administration really affected everything. (Now if I can't get into graduate school or something because of the economy, then ill understand)
Then prosecute him for those crimes. Bring him to justice if he is guilty.
You believe Bush torturing and abducting foreign citizens to torture via rendition is an ethical and legal thing to do? Let America sign up to the World Court and we'll find out. Republicans have nothing to fear if he did nothing wrong.
Those liberals and college students have been more right on issues then the entire Bush administration put together. Every subject we've supported since he's been in office has been proven correct. That's why its good to be in a "reality based community". Reality trumps everything in politics.
To say we have no clue is very puzzling since it wasn't us that destroyed this country so badly it'll take decades to recover. That was Bush.
You didn't answer my question. Read my first statement. Why do you think we're upset with Bush? Why do you believe we think he's a war criminal?
The reason I bought up Clinton's sex problems is because that is the defining mantra the Republican party had against him. No-one remembers anything else. The Republican party hasn't done a very good job showing anything incriminating that sticks beyond that. I'm no fan of Clinton's btw. If you have something to nail to the wall that is legit, do it. It's just going to take more then talking about his sex life.
What things have I said that are factually incorrect?
