Oh my God, that poor little girl looks terrified. "Mommy, make it leave!"

:cwink:

But yeah, looks like someone wants Jenna and Barbara to start popping out the grand children.

I don't think Bush is neccessarily a bad person. I think he is a very stubborn one with a temper who often speaks without thinking, but I think he is probably nice enough. However I do think he was very naive and easily manipulated by people like Cheney and Rumsfeld.

Exactly how I feel.

When people say Bush is evil you have to be quick to correct them. Bush isn't very bright, but no he's not evil. If anyone is evil its Cheney.

Nice picture. Bush genuinely likes the Obama family from everything I've heard from him. :yay:

Yeah. Sheayright.

FULLY aware as of the 2004 election that a new President would take over in 2009, Bush managed to book Blair House to a visiting Ex Austrailian PM so the Obamas would have to find other arrangements to live in DC until the Innauguaration.

His people were drafting executive orders left and right that would hinder if not sabotage programs he publically stated he supported.

You can find video of him doing the same sort of nice things for various children he encounters all the time. Doing it specifically for Obama's kid: PURE PHOT OP!

I'm not sure Cheney is the mastermind. I think Rove and Rummy are a big part of it. Back in 1992, Cheney was one of the strongest opponents to an invasion of Iraq. Based on Cheney's writings, votes in the House, and decisions as Sec Def, I am not sure he is as much of a master mind as people think. It would mean he would have to change his opinions on basically everything he believed in, in 8 years. I think more likely, Cheney was the vocal ******* because he knows he is unlikable and makes a good shield who deflects criticism from Bush.

No, I prefer Mod's that disagree with me - the Mod here that closest matches my beliefs is Hippie and we have had many debates. I think Danoyse is a fine Mod though I disagree with her politically very much. I disagree with Matt on most issues. Kel and I certainly are not of the same opinion on everything.

What Demogoblin did wasn't against the rules though

I think Richard Perle is one of the main guys who was behind it. He is the definition of an ideologue:

That's really worked out for America. :whatever:

Even if America does lose its superpower influence after fifteen years, they still won't allow Bush to be tried for war crimes. It's simply a matter of national pride. He'll be dead before any American leader is brought before the Hague.

But if anybody believes in cosmic justice, then have faith that he'll get his in the end. Nothing he ever said or did will prove he was right about invading Iraq.

I said he should be accountable for everything he's done. It's a collective effort of his administration that things the way they are now. And when Obama leaves, everything he does will be up to the next guy (or girl) to fix or continue. The cycle will go on.

I think with Bush gone, America can finally start to move into the 21st century. Bush just kept us all in the ass end of the 20th.

Quoted for truth.

Obama is the 21st century man.

Wow....it certainly looks like I've missed quite a conversation! :wow:

The only place reporting it is Huffington. Wow, are they actively trying to kill their credibility?

Yeah, well...I read the story. It was pretty tasteless. They are just desperate to stay relevant post election, aren't they?

I don't know if it's some kind of joke or not, Huffington Post is reporting it.

has to be a joke

I edited my post because I haven't seen the story anywhere else yet. I hope it was a joke.
Well I wish you had left it up so those of us that came in late would at least know what the heck you guys are talking about.:csad:

You want to give us an ideal of what it was?

I'm sorry Supe.

The Huffington Post was reporting that Bush had granted Osama Bin Laden a 'late-night' pardon for the murders of 2,700 people on September 11th, 2001.

Some headline that Marx posted from Huffington Post that Bush pardoned Bin Laden.

He didn't provide a link, and I didn't see the article on their website.

I believe it has been removed from the site. I cannot find the story now.
