Friendly reminder that we're less than a year away from the movie, the movie's production has apparently finished and is in post-production (if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me), and there still has not been an announcement on Doomsday as the "big bad" villain. Granted, they could still pull one over us, but it's unlikely given how close we are to release date, and the amount of content: Lex Luthor, Batman, Superman's growth in Metropolis, the public and Luthor's distrust, and The Justice League. Which means the movie's villains HAS to be either Lex Luthor, or they're playing up one of Batman or Superman as the unorthodox antagonist role.

Furthermore, we haven't even reached the Justice League, and we're already talking about killing Superman off? It doesn't make sense from a plot perspective, especially when Superman is the reason why the Justice League forms. And we're to expect a Justice League with 2 parts. Come on people, Zack Snyder isn't a dummy. He made Luthor bald, he's given Batman a with comic book colours, and you can't give him some benefit of the doubt that he won't kill off Superman so early?

I wonder if DC/Warner Bros will just release a clean trailer today or during the weekend, because of the leak. They might as well.

It's possible that we dont know all the villains. I think with Amazing Spider-Man 2 we didnt know until a few months before release that Green Goblin was in it...or was it Rhino. I know there was a secret villain and we found out when someone posted a leaked image of the banner.

I'm guessing they will make this a two part movie and pull a fast one on us. Batman v Superman part 1 and part 2 with the big bad villain.

So much for the idea that the statue was put up as a Superman memorial :)

Well finally got around that BvS trailer. I can without a doubt say that was dark. But in a good way. The people seemed to worship Superman as if he was Jesus. By that statement you could also interpret Zod as the Anti-Christ. Superman just saved them from Zod so it only makes sense.

However I assume the whole God angle Superman has going doesn't quite sit well with more religious people who believe there is one true God out there. Thus the whole False God deal in that Statue scene makes more sense. Superman doesn't seem too happy with the God angle either he just looks sad. Batman also seems not to appreciate Superman as well, perhaps Superman instead of telling the people he isn't a god allows the to believe he is so they will trust him more and have more "hope" as that is what he's supposed to symbolize.

Batman would obviously not agree with what Superman is allowing these people to believe and this can easily lead them to blows over more of a religious deal than a "Superman is very powerful so Batman has to stop him" deal. As Cavill's Superman mostly peaceful tends to hold back unless forced to do otherwise(Zod). Of course I could be FAR off and probably am. But that's just my interpretation of the trailer.

I don't think it will be a case at all of Superman encouraging "worship" but he may have a hard time at first discerning legitimate acceptance from "worshipful adulation" or "capitulation from fear".

Curious... anyone think the Batwing transforms into the Batmobile?

I'm not saying I WANT that to happen, but the back of the Batwing looks similar to the back of the Batmobile.

Never was a memorial for Supes, it's a memorial for all that perished in the invasion with Zod - statue is there because he saved Earth.

Looks like Batman was openly killing people via the Batwing.

I'm fine with Batman killing people if he has to, honestly. Ordinarily, I'd be against it but since in this universe we've seen Superman killing Zod pretty early on (even though it did happen in the comics too) I think Batman almost needs to kill some bad guys so that Superman views him as a threat.

Who in the hell was saying "tell me, do you bleed?"??

I thought I was the only one who thought the line at the end "do you bleed" wasn't Batman. It makes sense that it would be tho, but deep down I hope it isn't.
