POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR BvS

I was looking through the cast page on IMDB and noticed that there were 4 roles named "Nairomian Crying Woman." Not knowing what that was, I googled it and found an archived thread from 4chan that contained possible spoilers for the movie.

It's a Superman cult that's been spreading in the Middle East. They attack a war-torn place, Nairomi, where Superman is forbidden to go by the local government. Lois Lane is there covering the conflict and, when Superman intervenes to save her, the cult bows to him, and the Nairomian government believes Superman to have been part of their campaign and threatens retaliation against the United States government if Superman is not punished.

Superman is then called to a congress hearing in Washington, D.C. to decide his place in the world, which Lex Luthor bombs, leading to the deaths of several politicians and innocents, sowing political turmoil and leading to a global backlash against Superman. Batman is among the ones that believe Superman is out of control, while Superman is manipulated into believing Batman is behind the bombing, setting off their conflict.

I think there is some truth to this. First is that it is revealed that the Superman cult attacks a place called Nairomi. That is backed up by the IMDB cast page listing actresses playing Nairomians. Second is that they claim there is an explosion at Congress. In the Comic Con trailer, we know something bad happens there with the shot of Lois and the protesters looking frightened and ducking down. The thread is also dated 4 months ago and knew about the Congress hearing before it was revealed in the Comic Con trailer.

I love this. And it lines up with that stunt guy saying how the horse scene with Lois is at the beginning of the movie.

Yup pretty believable. One of the "Real" fake script's had Lois out investigating in the Middle East or more specifically Khandaq.

Man if this is true I have a feeling, and I'm really hoping, that it shows Luthor as the ultimate example of someone willing to "crack a few eggs" to make an omelette. If Luthor is willing to commit an act of mass murder, knowing Snyder I think the bomb will have a decent body count, in order to accomplish his goal of turning humanity against superman, he will be the ultimate futurist. A guy thinking so far ahead in the future, for humanity to stand on their own feet and not the kryptonians, he is willing to sacrifice lives right now with a hint of psycopathy. Man I really feel , and hope he is going this route. They also need to put the classic lex Luthor ego in their. He wants humanity to follow him, not Kal-el to the future.

yeah we knew about the congressional hearing and that Holly Hunter was a senator when they shot the scene. As for Lex bombing the hearing ,,well we know from the trailer that his assistant Mercy was there. Did she leave a package and walk out? Seems unlikely that she would get it past security and Superman's senses. Not impossible but unlikely. Did Lex bomb it from a distance? Again unlikely. Air Space over Wash DC is restricted. And it has anti missile batteries deployed around the city. I'm more inclined to believe that rumor about Supes losing control of his powers. And we know that they finished the hearing and that Supes was found responsible for something because of what Holly Hunter says in the trailer.

I agree with that you're saying but I don't think this threads warrants such a post considering it's the Rumor/Speculation Threat. Maybe I'm wrong.

Nope, there was no mention of Batman killing any of the cultists or anything else besides what I posted.

Exactly. They are guessing anything we could guess. Especially with no mention of what Batman is doing in those scenes.
