The Cape

Just finished Razor and I have to say I really enjoyed this show. I had my reservations with the pilot episode but the show got better and better. It reminds me a lot of the old Flash and Dick Tracy shows.

Too bad it is cancelled.

So is it officially cancelled?
I hadn't heard anything lime that.
I mean it's completely understandable, but I figured there would be and actual announcement or something.

And when does the online episode air?

I said it was cancelled from what the people in this thread were saying. If there hasn't been an official announcement, then I hope it comes back for season 2.

This is a unique show, with its look and feel, and would miss watching it.

I can't believe this thread got to 28 pages. I mean to each their own, but I watched half of the two hour pilot and couldn't take anymore it was so awful. It's sad because I was looking forward to the show when I saw the ads for it.

Exactly how feel. I watched the first three eps. and couldn't take it anymore. As you said though, to each there own.

That finale was pretty good. No one recognizing Vince until then was freaking ridiculous. Why not just let the actor use his regular accent when speaking to his wife and friends?(ah well, don't matter)

Still think Orwell was actually the split personality like her father and Chess.

Yeah. Perhaps more people will see it on DVD than they did on TV...

And SyFy did air episodes of The Cape (since Universal owns both USA, SyFy and NBC), but like around 1 AM-2 AMish during the show's brief run. It probably shouldn't have been on NBC in the first place, Fox or CBS could've marketed it better.

^Well NBC sucks at marketing anything that isn't on thursday nights anyway.

I really really really really wanted to like this show.

About 3-4 episodes in, I was pretty invested, but after that, the show started to decline big time for me and it was becoming literally a chore, trying to keep watching--in hopes that it would get better.

I'm glad that I won't have to worry about that anymore..

I remember having to force myself to watch the whole pilot. Then I watched the next two episodes and I was done.
