If the finished product resembles below I'll be satisfied.

I really liked Selina in "Telltale: Batman". She was much more rounded character than the pun-ridden caricature from "Arkham Games".

I liked the costume as well. It's quite utilitarian and fitting for a thief.

Agreed 100%. After years of misfires by DC the Telltale writers have managed to rekindle my love for Selina Kyle.

Unfortunately I do not believe for one second that they made Bruce old because they had a story or direction with older Batman. It only happened because Snyder REALLY loved TDKR and that was all there to it.

It's increasingly apparent to me that the upcoming Batverse will be rather normal and wont have much history. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he meets many of his classic villains for the first time. Heck he was shocked when he realized Diana was almost 100 years old which kinda for now hints that he hasn't met Ra's.

I expect most of the villains will be known to him but you could be right. I don't know too much about Rha's.

Oh my bad. Rha's is the dude that trained Bruce before he became Batman. I forgot his name from the movies.

That actress looks like she could be Batfleck's daughter. No thanks.

I still laugh from time to time that Batman had to take a call (as Batman) from a girl who got pissed at him for smashing and never calling back. :funny:

Ah. Thanks. Were fans upset about that change? I don't remember backlash with that. Maybe it's not a big deal.

I don't think anyone was upset at him training Bruce; most of the anger that did come was focused on Ra's being a mortal Irishman/Frenchman instead of an immortal Central Asian. The idea of him training Bruce actually seemed to get approval since it nicely abridged Bruce's training across the world and reinforced the vaguely paternal subtext of their interactions in older media into a full blown pseudo-familial bond.

And I agree that this rumor does seem to skew younger without much justification beyond "pretty young woman" being Hollywood's bread and butter.

There probably was, but before Batman Begins, the Al Ghul's weren't really well known outside of hardcore comic fans so even if there was any outrage it probably didn't register for it to bleed into general audience or coverage of the films by the press. Different landscape back then as well for film journalism.

They also kind of honored the original canon as well by giving Liam Neeson's version of Ra's a pseudonym. He referred to himself as "Henri Ducard" when he met Bruce in the jail, who in the comics, did train Bruce in his detective skills. So it changed things while simultaneously respecting the canon.

Eh, I can dig it.

Considering the long history that Bruce and Selina share in the comics, I'm still hoping WB goes with a somewhat older actress. That said, from what little I've seen of her work, Haley seems like a decent actress. She kind of looks the part as well, especially if you're partial to depictions of Selina as a green-eyed, fair-complexioned brunette w/ shortish hair.

Likewise, I had no problem accepting her as Justin Theroux's love interest in The Girl on the Train, and I believe he's the same age as Affleck.

She wouldn't be my first choice for the role, but I suppose I could live w/ it if the studio ultimately went with her.

Here's another recent pic:

So, she dyed her hair as well... yeah, I'm pretty convinced she got the part now.

Actors sure do love the attention they get from nerds when they post something cryptic on social media

Heh, true. And it's insane how many sites ran the story based on this in last two days.

Hammer hasn't been trolling for a while though... shame, I found it amusing.

Ugh. I'm willing to give her a chance because she might end up being a great Catwoman, but i'm honestly getting angry just thinking of the DCEU having this opportunity to finally show an aging Catwoman, and they blow it all away.

There's still a chance that she's trolling or wanting the part really bad.

Let's start getting angry when we get real news.

May as well start now since the DCEU are likely to disappoint again and again. I'm already prepared.

Casting is probably the last of DCEU's problem, well except for Leto and Eisenberg.

She's got a lot of pictures of cats on her instagram. She could just like cats.
