That was an amazing sight to behold.

The only reason Titanic made bank, wasn't because he was any good, its becuase of these dumb preteens who only like him for his looks, and it gave Hollywood a reason to put him anywhere.

It's the greatest movie involving coke-****e, 80s dance music, and men meddling over business cards.

Bale was also a nice touch.:grin::brucebat:

Seriously, though, see it. It's truly mind-numbing how well Bale was in this, and how far they took his character. Ask away if you must, my PMs haven't reached their limit.:cwink:
 
I had the fortune of seeing AP on the big screen. I walked out saying "WTF?" but knowing that without a doubt, Christian Bale is a frigging genius. I watched it again on DVD recently, and if you understand the humor, it is disturbingly hilarious. It's not for those who are easily offended. If you realize going into it that it skewers the 80's without mercy, you will enjoy it. Truly a fantastic performance from Mr. Bale. In fact, for quite a while, every time I saw him, I thought, "Oh God! There's that freaky Patrick Bateman." (Funny name, eh? Bateman....Batman...Hmmm.)

Funny thing is, first time I saw AP was on video, and the other movie I had rented was Batman Returns.:woot::brucebat:
 
ok ive seen it TONS of times as i have the unrated version on DVD... i pretty much know that movie in and out,, now i have a few questions but dont wanna spoil the movie for those who havent seen it.. is there a place to discuss mainly the ending of the movie where its questioning whether he did or didnt do these things? or should we do PM's? lemme kno guy/gals

perhaps the Misc. Films forum? its the best place to discuss all other films that doesnt have their own forum/ are not part of the DC/ Marvel franchises.
