The Dark Knight The Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne thread

Im more inclined to believe that IMDB report, but I'll further await more confirmation. Looking back, I do find it funny that people were in blatant denial of Bale doing anything wrong. C'mon people. Just because he's playing an altruistic character in the movies, doesn't mean he's a complete nice guy in real life. He's obviously a tightly-wounded up guy.

In the end, I think this'll all settle itself. He probably did verbally assault his mom and sis, but most likely in defense. No biggie.
I'm not in denial that he did anything wrong, I'm in denial that he would do ANYTHING that would call attention to himself. He's not an idiot. He's been in the biz since he was 13. He's likely fully aware that if he beat up someone, it would be newsworthy.

Crook,

You remember in 2004 when he snapped on that chick, right? BTW ... where is the IMDB report?
I remember that. I believe he apologized later. He was just in a bad mood and didn't want to be bothered.

Good thing I wasn't referring to you, then. :o

Who wouldn't? That was a hilarious day.
You remember when everyone was mad at me for posting it ... and saying I was a liar, then the husband of the chick gave us the picture to post of Bale flipping off the camera?

And everyone said I was out of whack and I was the bad guy for making it up ... Bale wouldn't do that, etc.

Listen everyone, I've met Bale a few times. While he was more than sociable with me ... I have seen him snap on a few people and he's a very tightly wound person. That said, It is definetely in the realm of possibility he snapped verbally on his mom and sister. I've also heard his mom and sis are shady characters, and he's tried to stay away from them for a period of time.

We'll find out what really happened, but it's funny the pics from the London premier after he was brought into the station and allowed to leave for the premier, he looks visually stunned and disturbed in all his pictures.

Yeah, but I get a strong feeling he was forced to apologize to that woman and her husband because executives didn't want any potential bad press before the film was released. I mean the temper in which he released on that chick was VERY strong, and at the drop of the dime. He was vicious with his words, and it wasn't really neccessary. Apologizing is no excuse. He didn't apologize till the woman's husband approached him with the pic they had developed from the night before.

bu bu bu, from all the posters on my wall and the youtube footage I have seen, Mr Bale is a nice person and would never harm a fly, I know I have never met him but the fact he is a movie star means he is above human flaws, please leave Mr Bale alone.

...he also told her that it's very rude to take his picture without his permission.

4 years, and it's still funny to see how posters react to the story. :funny:

And do you really think the executives would have heard about it with that short of a turnaround time? Especially if they were still filming and not on a promotional tour? :cwink:

At least he did apologize. Who knows what his thought process was. We're not him. What else could he do to make it right in your eyes? Give them free passes to the premiere? What's done is done.

I dunno, I'm not the kind of person to go up and even ask for an autograph. I don't understand that kind of thought process either. :cwink: But diversity makes the world go round.

I can only assume you are joking.

He was walking with someone from the studio when it happened.

:o

As for the rest of your post ... IDK wtf you're getting at. I have no problem with Bale. As I said, he was more than generous when interacting with me personally. I don't think he's a "bad guy" ... he's human. I'm just validating this story by letting you know it is WELL within the realm of possibility from the type of person Christian Bale is. I just don't know why you're defending his actions like you're in his inner circle of friends..

See I knew this whole thing was a load of bull . It's just the media's way of attracting attention to themselves . In another words steal "BATMAN's Thunder"

They like get mad when I mention it, everytime ... like I'm making it up. And I stood 10 feet away and watched it happen.
Maybe because it's been 4 years and you're still mentioning it. :oldrazz: Heck, I'm not the kind of person I was 4 years ago.

But you're right - he does have a history of verbal lashouts. Doesn't mean he would go and physically assault someone, that's completely different.

To me it sounds minor....he was arrested for verbal assault? Oookay?? Certainly not anything physical. Sounds like mom and sis pissed him off or maybe they want a piece of the Batman pie he has earned?

That was me reacting to your "Apologizing is no excuse" comment. It made it seem like you were judging him, and I don't believe in that for anyone, not just Bale.

But we've come to an agreement, so :yay:

But why now, he has been an actor since his childhood
