Christian Bale hasn't been wealthy at all though ... you'd be suprised. He was getting evicted from his home in 2004. It wasn't until he cashed his BEGINS check that he was able to regain his lifestyle. He doesn't make the HUGE bucks like other actors. People would be suprised, alot of actors struggle financially. Especially if they can't get parts and there is alot of lapse time between jobs.

But you're right - he does have a history of verbal lashouts. Doesn't mean he would go and physically assault someone, that's completely different.

This is just like when Chris Benoit killed and ate parts of his family and enclosed the dogs in the pool area. Now all of a sudden people are going to start with that trash mouth on Christian Bale even though they don't even know anything about him or where he's from.

People are going to be like "They should get someone else to play Batman in the third one" and "I don't respect him as much anymore." It's stupid. If you take something I've done that I know was a completely logical action and condense it into a little news blurb on the Yahoo! main page, you could make me sound like an ******* too.

I doubt he did anything & from what I've read, guards said they were hitting him first & I don't care who it is whether it be mom, sister, brother, father, they have no right puting their hands on him if he didn't do so. I don't condone him hitting a woman if he did (doubt it), but still, they are in the wrong.

I still love Bale.

Well it sounds like there is some bad blood between the family members and we don't know the details of why he pushed one of them out of his way. Oh well.

On a side note, let's talk about his performance? I think he has become the definitive screen Batman. It is true he still uses too much gravel sounds and growls in his Batman voice (especially the line "I don't wear hockey pads!"), but just the perforamnce his face makes and his posturing is dead on in the cowl and out of it he deliers what Batman is like "behind closed doors" and what Bruce is like in public as well.

Bale was awesome as Batman & certainly improved. Reminded me alot of TAS Batman to be truthful.
