The Clinton Thread II - Part 2

Thanks

On the surface that's a little embarrassing but if the contents of the emails aren't relevant I don't see how it's relevant in any meaningful way. If there's classified information I suppose it's possible that could pull up legal technicalities but I'm not sure how that would find its way back to Clinton unless she personally emailed him.

Sounds more likely he would've got the emails from the estranged wife?

Not exactly what the Clinton campaign would've wanted at the 11th hour though, but it seems a little farfetched to think anything additional will come of it.

About the only thing I can see is that the device contained information that might have been classified, and the FBI are now trying to figure out if it actually was classified. The question is then if it was something like e-mails from Huma to Weiner that contained the potentially sensitive information. Or if it was something Weiner wrote in an e-mail which would raise questions on where he obtained the information.

Except the new e-mails were not from HRC, she did not send them, they did not come from her server, and had nothing to do with the investigation. They are apparently 3 e-mails found on a device belonging to Weiner which were of unknown classification. In other words they are trying to figure out if they contain information that was classified.

You dont know that. I dont know that its not. But i doubt very much the FBI would say they are looking into Clinton if whatever they found had nothing to do with Clinton.

Yeah, exactly. The nature of the information and how the sender came about it could be interesting to the FBI.

It should be mildly alarming to the American public if it turns out everyone and their mother has access to sensitive information. I doubt anything will come of it honestly, it's nothing but a headline that'll fizzle in 48 hours IMO.

This is so ****ing stupid. If Wiener's penis results in that dick winning....

I wouldnt worry too much. People are already voting. And Trump is still a racist, bigoted, xenophobic, moronic, tax dodging, sexual deviant. A single misinformed headline isnt going to make voters forget what Trump is.

What I don't get is they say it was Huma's computer and not anything to do with Clinton's email server, yet somehow they are investigating Hillary Clinton?

This is not wikileaks, or Putin. This is the FBI man... they have something because it is not procedure to make investigations public like this if they didn't.

It is about emails sent to Clinton from Huma. That is why this is an unrelated case. They aren't even reopening the investigation. It so damn stupid.

Have you read nothing about this? Because it certainly sounds like it.

No offense... and this is coming from someone who hates both candidates and its followers. If you think this has a shelf life of only 48 hrs. than you are not from this planet.

Maybe a week. Clinton emerged, rightly or wrongly, unscathed from the previous investigation about God knows how many thousands of emails - why would this be any different? If an investigation of that magnitude didn't sufficiently tarnish her, why would this?

The same FBI that investigated her previously and several of whom's employees appeared to be going out of their way to make it seem like she did nothing unethical or irresponsible?

I've seen some of the FBI employees being questioned and they were covering for Clinton and evading questions on end…why is this suddenly going to be more relevant? Comey et al put their heads on the block for Clinton already, they'll make this go away too. Unless they found that she deliberately shared extremely classified information with people not authorized to have access to the info this seems like a non-story, even then they'd probably manage to make it go away.

Again whether or not the e-mails had marked classification may not even be the focus of this new probe. Clinton or Huma could potentially have perjured themselves during previous questioning with this new info being available to investigators.

I dislike Clinton because she seems shady as ****, but even if she's guilty of that, so what? She was probably guilty of something based on the previous investigation that they explained away and swept under the rug.

A politician at her level will never be equal before the law. She could asphyxiate and cremate some people on national television and nothing would come of it. There's no chance in hell whatever may be in those emails affects the outcome of this election, or her life for that matter, in any way, shape or form.

4 devices seized. 1 belongs to Huma Abadin. Theres gotta be communication on there from Clinton.

We'll see. But regardless this isn't under her control... we may in fact elect a person president who will start their first term under an FBI microscope.

Clinton is so entrenched in the political system there's likely no crime, evident or not, that would get her charged with anything. The only thing that will happen is this will fall on the heads of the people whose devices they seized, there might be some sacrificial lambs but Clinton won't even get a slap on the wrist.

You obviously don't have much knowledge of how J. Edgar Hoover ran things. lol

Thats better than electing a person thats being sued for raping a 13 year old girl and being accused of sexual assault by multiple women.

And how is that any different from literally the exact same accusations that have been thrown at Bill Clinton?

I have no skin in this game... everyone involved in this election is utter trash. I'm writing in Bill Weld when I go to vote. I won't even acknowledge Johnson as my party's candidate.
