Hillary on Between Two Ferns

http://www.vulture.com/2016/09/story-behind-hillary-clinton-between-two-ferns.html

"What's the best way to reach you? Email?"

Someone said that if Clinton questions why Trump hasn't released his tax returns, he should just say that he e-mailed them to her.

Speaking of the Debates:

As it turns out, they will be taking no breaks during the first debate if Hillary lapses into another one of her coughing fits. Here's the quote from a flash on Drudge:

Debate moderator Lester Holt does not have the authority to cut away from the stage during the epic 90-minute showdown. And microphone audio for either of the candidates is not to be manipulated.
Can you imagine the awkwardness of a long coughing fit on Hillary's part, complete with full sound? People can complain all they want about the unfairness of focusing on Hillary's health, but I don't see how it could be anything other than damaging in the eyes of anyone not already in the tank for her.

Well, Hillary shouldn't be worried. I'm sure the networks (and CNN especially), will suddenly experience an "unexpected" feed loss should that happen. :o

To be fair, her coughing doesn't have to do with anything, but the media is gonna make something out of it, so it'll turn into something.

Is coughing bad in the US?

I really hope Hillary doesn't have a coughing fit or a faint episode or anything. That could seal her political coffin in this campaign, IMO.

Maybe that's what they need to do for Hillary. Set the bar low like they are for Trump. As long as she doesn't cough, pee in her pants, or die on stage, she wins the debate.

The one upside to Donald Trump winning this election will be to see Hillary leave politics.

Why was Hillary screaming about the polling numbers? Those two trade up every day depending on who's doing the polling.

I honestly think repubs are hoping HC wins the election. Then they don't have to defend Trump when he destroys the country, and they get to lean on the Hillary bashing for 4 more years.

There is a sick part of me that hopes Hillary loses just to teach the establishment Dems a lesson and then also hopes Trump effectively ruins the GOP with his presidency. If I could be certain Trump wouldn't set off a nuke or start WW3 I would've contemplated secretly voting for him. Luckily that isn't the case.

As an independent who went to the Dems only to end up wiping my hands of them and revert back. I'm guilty of having moments of selfishly feeling this way.

I still want Hillary and her husband out of D.C. as well as all their friends in high places who turn a blind eye. Which will never happen...

Tactical voting can bite you on the ass. Lots of individuals think their one vote doesn't really matter but who knows if everyone else is thinking like that too.

I've been strongly considering giving Johnson my vote since the latest polls look better for Clinton. I'm starting to think we're jumping at nothing where a Trump victory is concerned.

Straw that broke the camel's back (mostly because of the sabre-rattling toward Russia):http://abcnews.go.com/US/fbi-releases-189-pages-hillary-clinton-email-probe/story?id=42319084

ABC News said:
In fact, the documents released today show that during a trip to Russia while secretary of state, one of Clinton's aides brought a pouch with Clinton's classified briefing book into the hotel suite they were sharing. After Clinton and the aide left the suite, diplomatic security found a classified document had been left behind -- and the pouch should not have been brought to the suite in first place, according to the FBI documents

My personal philosophy - if you made a mistake, admit it and fix the source of the problem. Don't blame others for it. This is kind of what I was thinking back when word of Russian hackers attacking our computers broke - fix your security and you wouldn't have this problem. I put it aside when it sounded like Hillary was losing ground to Trump. Now though, I think its safe to pick up my principles again.

With Brexit people were so sure it would never win that they felt it was safe to protest vote.

Yeah the odds on remaining were about 1-7 even after the first few results had started rolling in which is crazy for an election with only 2 outcomes. That individual thinking that the vote is safe so you can vote for someone you don't want to win as a protest against something else (anti-Tory/anti-austerity/anti-Clinton) seems very safe but 20 million people could be thinking the exact same thing. And you don't feel as bad when the other guys wins if you voted according to your true underlying wishes as you do when your protest vote turns into an unintended winning vote for that outcome!

And lets not forget that Farage basically conceded before the results had even come in, thats how sure people were that it was going to lose.

And as I said earlier, the Trump campaign is mirroring the Brexit campaign. Scare the hell out of ignorant people and they will vote for you.

That would explain Hillary's newest batch of attack ads, using Donald's soundbites. But she needs her campaign to provide 'why I should be President' ads as well.

She has provided tons of those over the past couple of months....not sure if they are showing where you are, but there have been plenty here in Houston.

And she has hit the internet hard with those as well....

Has there been any ads using Republicans being asked if they think Trump is qualified to be President?

You can imagine the names that would be being thrown around if things were reversed and it was Clinton who had 5 kids from 3 guys.

On top of their already scandalous relationship? I don't think I need to imagine those names.

Once again, this is too perfect of a pair of presidential candidates.

The ads I've seen on TV recently have mostly been repeats of "Mirrors" (Trump's sexist remarks playing over women looking at themselves in the mirror). A month or so ago it was mostly the clean energy, compromise, and Trump insulting the grieving parents of an American hero.

What she really needs to hone in on is Trump's hypocrisy, i.e. his modeling company hiring undocumented workers and his racist past towards the black community.

I was meaning more ads with Trump supporting Republicans. There seems to be quite a few that have backed him but tend to dance around when asked if they think he is qualified.
