Ya know maybe Nolan just simply doesnt make promises. And maybe he also sees doing sequals as he does with showing footage- He wont know if he`s ever coming back to film until he`s actually there, when everythings final, when its all complete, ready and the time is right. If Nolan doesnt come back for a third the only thing we have to worry about is who will take over to direct. God forbid that were to happen i think we`d still have the same writers and not too much will change. But i highly doubt Nolan wont do a trilogy since the main villain is obviously two-face in the next installment and we all know how Nolan feels about that character

I really, really hope that Nolan, Bale and the gang all come back for a 3rd and even more films if they want to make them, I fear when they are not doing the Batman films

I agree with other posters that Two-Face will say the last line in the movie, he will be the hook for #3 (Shadow Of The Bat ), like the Joker card was for #2.

I'm kinda glad Harley Quinn isn't in The Dark Knight because Christopher Nolan is doing an awesome job on the NEW Batman Films.
I think Christopher Nolan, Aaron Eckhart, & Christian Bale should stay for a third film.
I also agree Two-Face should say the last line in the The Dark Knight, he would be an excellent hook for #3, like the Joker card was for The Dark Knight

I think it should end with harvey dent saying the "half statement". I believe after he says that statement it should pan up and then cut right before we get to his face. I believe that would be the ultimate hook.
