The Film Critic Associations for Boston, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles handed out their annual awards this weekend, as did the online critics from New York City. The result looks to be an interesting fight with "The Queen", "Letters from Iwo Jima" and "The Departed" the big winners so far but the spread quite even over a good range of titles.
The most notable repercussions on the awards front from these results? First off Mirren and Whitaker seem pretty much locks for best acting awards at the Oscars and Globes.
