The Cyclops/Scott Summers Thread

Fox writers and directors just didnt know how to adapt these X-Men and make the general audience love each one of them. Crazy to think Fox had the best team but failed with this goal most of the times.

Nicholas Hoult was not a good casting as Beast.
He kinda grew on me ngl, but yeah, he lacked that sophisticated charm and that signature intellectual wit and erudition, we had yet to see him delivering Shakespearean quotes with effortless gravitas in a fatherly, authoritative voice.
 
Him appearing in human form post-FC also hurt. That era was just a mess.
 
I don't think he would have been commanding enough as Cyclops too.
 
Sometimes it felt like the old guard just got a bunch of actors they like and then just did a search for x-men they could play

Well, we're talking about the young insecure Scott here. A quiet, reserved boy who has to grow into a leader. I think he would have fit the part.

I don't think Nicholas Hoult fits the role as Cyclops.
