Hey now, Affleck was great (in a very terrible movie, less so the follow-ups - much less so) and the meta aspect of how much of Ben's natural miserable disaster energy bled into Bruce was great. A performer with a known, recognizable history and perception is usually a boost if utilized correctly, imo.

The only way WF happens is if the Batman Family film comes out before it and I don't see that happening.

Whoever plays Brainiac needs to come off as so smart they hover above us. Bautista does nothing for me in that regard.

An interesting thing about Gunn doing Superman is that he's uniquely well suited to a lot of his rogues gallery. Gunn is good at weird, silly sci-fi horror stuff which is ultimately what most of Superman's enemies are.

Who said it's the only way for a World's Finest to happen? I can easily envision a world where Batman gets introduced in WF and then branches out to his own story with Damian.

Brainiac should be on par with Superman physically but he/she doesn't ever have to use superstrength.
That's the way I hope it goes anyway.

What I'd like to see, since we have A.I. now, is Brainiac arrives and hacks into Earth's computers, taking control of everything.
Everything would be a weapon. From cellphones to fighter planes.
