He also told me there would many suprises in the line that he wasn't mentioning. For both the collector's and children. He said kind of think like the collector's edition Batman and Prototype suit Bruce Wayne.

If they can't squeeze Bruce in their first series, it would be incredible if they could at least include a swappable bruce head with one version of batman in the line, just to get Christian bale in there, like the takara BB figure.

also, just yesterday i recieved off ebay my dark knight collection jack nicholoson "sky escape" Joker figure from B89, and he is awsome. even comes with his long barrel gun. now i am extremly eager to get, or at least see, the heath ledger joker figure from mattel. the wait is killin me!!

also, anyone know if the purple hat from the toybiz B89 joker will fit on the kenner DKC joker figs?

I agree the Mattel press release after Toy Fair in February sounded really promising and this might be the first time Batman movie toys have actually been done justice in the eyes of collectors. I think we all expected to see a kiddie based movie line since we've had one with all the previous movies, but a line actually marketed towards collectors and sculpted by the four horseman would be incredible.

Here's hoping for prototypes to live up to the expectation, haven't been this excited for a movie toy line in years.t:

I hope it's true. The Begins toy line turned out pretty terrible save for a couple. The regular Batman one was decent. Superman's line as well, then again, the movie wasn't that good of a vehicle for toys either.

If they made them even more like the current DC heroes line I would really like that. DC Heroes style movie versions of Batman Begins Batman and Superman Returns Superman. As well as maybe a Lex Luthor, Ra's, Scarecrow, etc.

Even Marvel Legends did a good job with the movie versions like Thomas Jane Punisher and Blade 2.

Sky Escape Joker is the best! Good likeness.

I have the toybiz Joker, but none of his accessories. But I can tell you his head is a bit larger than the DKC Joker, so I don't know.

Probably so. I know they did the same thing for "Batman & Robin" before it came out too.

Hell yeah! Those guys know how to sculpt action figures & make them look badass. They would probably have to make the figures bigger though if they were to do the Batman movie one. Have they ever sculpt action figures the same size as the BB & Superman Returns one? I only know their work on the 2002 He-Man, the DC Superheroes lines from Mattel, & I think that it.
