I too just saw this on Fwoosh and I think that these must be hitting at Walmart right now, I'll have to check.

The 8th makes sense because didn't the first wave come out on a Tuesday as well? And I think they'd want these out before the movie comes out since the hype is at its tipping point. Either way, I will be making a leisurely (read: frantic) stroll to Wal-Mart (the only place I've seen MMs by me) Tuesday morning before work, fully prepared for either:
a) complete disappointment
b) complete chaos
c) complete little kid punched in face

looks like the ebay posts mean that some employees or lucky SOBS were able to open to boxes or buy a pack before their 'official' release date, same with the dude who has the tumbler that opens up.

I literally have been to every venue that sells toys in the greater metro Iowa area and have seen 3 total MM figures (Two thugs and a batman, which i promptly picked up). I haven't even SEEN a joker in real life...... anybody in Iowa seen um?

Oh also, they've resculpted Joker for wave 2 to look 'less menacing'. Here's what I mean:

Wave One "The 'Up Yours' Joker"

Wave Two "The 'I'm Sorry' Joker"

It is confirmed. 2nd wave will NOT be the same as wave1. & you all know what that means. that's right, figs that were hard to come by when released on 5/01/08 & initialy sold for approx $40-50, & after the recall they shot up too over $150-$200 each.

People imagine what they'll go for once word spreads abroad that wave1's mold has been now & for ever retired! So my advise is if you've been on the fence about paying scalpers prices for wave1, then get them now bc its only gonna get worse.

That second Joker was also a part of Wave 1. It was a variant version. So either one of those are equally impossible to find. Don't know for sure yet if this version will be the ONLY one out now. Going to have to wait and see what people turn up.

Wave 2 has been said to be released at the end of July in the UK, with wave 1 not coming until September. And I did not get that the wrong round - apparently wave 2 is being released in the UK before wave 1.

I just went to Wal-mart (I am from Texas) and they are OUT! Picked me up a Scarecrow and Joker! I already had a Joker from the first line, think Im gonna keep this one in the package.

Dark Knight Suit Batman and Scarecrow have been put back until the 1st of September, but Begins Suit Batman and Fear Toxin Batman are still due for release on the 30th of July.

No it actually wasnt part of Wave 1, it is part of Wave 2, thats why it hasnt been released yet.

Yea, 3 Walmarts, a Target and a TRU and I had no luck either. I've heard they were supposed to be out tomorrow but some people have gotten them last night and today. I believe in the TN and TX areas.
