Batman doesn't kill, but does he kill dogs?

I'm talking about the ones in the unfinished skyscraper that the Joker sends after him. It looks like he throws them down the elevator shaft or the opening he grappled up. Granted, one of the swat teams survives falling down one floor, but do the dogs get hurled by Batman all the way down?

hmm. maybe he's only concerned w/ the lives of humans, bat's and endangered animals.

I always wondered how the copycat batmen could be so in the loop they'd know when and where a drug deal/meeting was taking place...

IIRC, some of them worked for the Gotham PD, so they would have access to the same info that the police have. Others could just come from bad neighborhoods and hear word on the street that something would be going down.

^exactly what I was thinking..Brian Douglass, the group's founder, is a GCPD officer

BTW, did any of you know that the Major Crimes Unit is taken from the "Gotham Central" comics?

will somebody please break down the whole Two Face/Joker scene in the Hospital

This movie is a classic but i still dont get how Joker convinced Dent that he wasnt at fault

and is it safe to assume that if Dent got away from Gordon that he was going to evnetually try and kill joker?

Joker made it seem like Dent was his guy yet i get the feeling Dent was going to try and off Joker eventually

Joker wasn't "at fault" since as he said, he was sitting in an MCU cell when Rachel and Harvey were abducted. Meaning, it wasn't just him. Lots of people had a hand in what happened, and Dent should hold them all responsible.

And Dent already "judged" Joker. That was what the first coin flip was for. They don't show the coin after he flips it, but since Joker is alive a few seconds later, it's assumed that the coin came up clean.

I don't think he'd judge him again, since this Two-Face doesn't cheat. :funny:

When Shiff has the nametag of Officer Rachel Dawes, why does it say officer and how did he snag it when they got the uniforms from the dudes?

Joker made them? Presumably all of his honor guard goons were wearing an Officer Rachel Dawes nametag, since he couldn't have foreseen which one of them would get caught.

I'm starting to think i should have voted "yes" on the poll. oh well.

What is your idea behind Joker's masochism? And where do you stand on the issue of the Joker's plan - was it all planned or just like what he said, he just do things? i.e. Do you think that blowing a half of Dent and turning him mad was really his plan since the beginning or he just made him mad when he sees the opportunity?

Id say Joker had a rough idea of some plans and improved when he could. I seriously doubt he thought about Dent "hm lemme burn half his face so he goes crazy" He just wanted to do something to push him over the edge which he did. First he made him believe Batman an Gordon let her die to save him then he gave him that speech to help put over w/e thoughts Dent might of been having. Joker did a great job of organizing everything but there were things here an there that were clearly done on the fly

I think the Joker became a masochist because he was abused as a kid and masochism was his coping method. Or he could just be crazy and violent and enjoy pain.

I suspect the Joker really intended to kill Dent, either with the rocket launcher or in the abandoned building explosion. When Dent survived scarred Joker saw his opportunity to drive Dent mad, so he went to the hospital and the rest was history.

When Joker was trying to kill Dent in the car chase scene he suspected he was Batman. Once he realized the truth he put Dent in a dangerous warehouse along with Rachel (yourself) but the fact is he lied to Batman that he was going to Rachels location when in fact it was Dents. He knew Batman would go after Rachel so he made sure he wouldn't be able to by giving the wrong address. Saving Dent alone an finding out Rachel died as a result was enough to to start the scarring transformation (mentally). The damage that created Two-Face was merely coincidence. When Joker gave his little speech to Dent in the hospital it was intended to help push him over the edge an finish the transformation that Rachels Death started. Don't forget what Joker said either at the end of the film that Harvey was his "Ace in the Hole". Thats why he made sure Dent survived the building explosion by giving the wrong address in the first place. If Dent dies then hes lost his ace in the hole

The Joker wasn't trying to kill Dent early in the chase. He shot at the SWAT care only with a pistol and the rocket launcher was fired at the police escorts first. Only after the Joker was certain that Batman and Dent weren't the same person did he aim the RL at Dent's van. I think Plan A was to kill Dent. If he survived, the Joker would move on to Plan B and make Harvey his "ace in the hole."

I think the Joker was trying to capture Dent in the chase, not kill him. The RPG wouldn't blow up the van, it would probably just topple it over.
