I take back what I said earlier. What actually earned him a spot as an annoyance was the term "air cav". Yeah, sure thing, pal.
At least he was responding to changing situations, unlike the old guy at Wayne Tower who kept on repeating that the water main was going to blow as the train came closer. :oldrazz:

Hurm. Good point, fraulein Anita. I forgot about him. "It's gonna BLOW!" :hehe:

I remember how much I loved Begins and thought it was teh **** and then TDK showed up..

Yea that cop with Gordon in the van done my head in!!! It was funny when he was like " Is that a bazooka?!? ". But the rest of the time he was very annoying!
Yup. So the saying goes: Less is more,
and there are things.....words cannot express

I think Nolan's promoting American guns now. Where's Michael Moore when you need him?
:word: Heh Heh Heh.
anyways.
How did the foreshadowing JOKER card end up in judge Surillo's list of charges?

ZOMG PLOTHOLE

In the interrogation scene Joker is constantly protruding his tongue out like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly. Was this because his mouth was slit open? i NOticed he only does this in front of Batman, which means he's either comfortable and not insecure in front of Batman or he was just being crazy and F-ing with him.

Joker is actually a lawyer! His background story was sitting there the whole time.

He does this several times in the film. It's his thing.

He just, doesss things *lick*

Considering Brian was in his Batman outfit, it's very likely he went out looking for Joker himself, not realizing what he was up against.

Hmmm.. i guess he musta been patrolling w/o the Bat squad that evening.. poor b*stard lol

i also wonder what Joker woulda did with Bats had Gordon not intervened... put a smile on his face maybe?

I think so, yeah. Or would he kill him? I mean, just minutes after he says "I don't want to kill you".

I think he would of just gave him a little something to remember him by. Namely a brand new smile!!!

I wholeheartedly agree. In fact, I thought it smacked of Goyer's writing - correct me if I'm wrong. I'd hate for Nolans to be associated with that self-evident tripe.

I don't think Batman was knocked out--he was just lying there, pretending, knowing that Gordon was gonna show up.. see, it was all part of the plan

I wonder why Batman decided to walk directly up to The Joker with his dogs in the climax, rather than he use his ninja skills to be invisible and tie him up or knock him out or something. He could've saved himself alot of trouble if he used a playbook :hehe:
But we need an entertaining climax, don't we? It's a funny world we live in :brucebat::hoboj:

Cause he needed the detonator right away, and figured a direct approach would work better than scaring/beating it out of him. :oldrazz:

And it's more intimidating for him to walk towards you before he beats you than it is for him to sneak up on you and beat you.

I think that he knew by then that the joker wasnt intimidated by him.
Dont forget that the joker had the dogs with him that smelled batsy before he even got close.

Yea thats why i thought the Chechen used them, to sniff out Batman before he could sneak up on them. **looks at bat-signal** "Thats why we bring DOGGGSSSS!!"

I'm sure that the Joker could smell Bats by himself. With all the sweating he does inside that suit, I wouldn't be surprised if that thing smells funky and Bruce has a bad case of jock itch.

I think it was kind of a personal thing, ya know ? It´s like "Hey, look at me, I´m going towards you and I´m gonna kick your a$$" kinda thing, remember, Batsy does all of his ninja thing, always minding his surroundings, etc...but this time is personal, the Joker is personal for him, so it´s diferent...kinda like when you go pick up a fight with someone that did wrong to you...I dunno if I´m making myself clear....:o

Polux

I was having dinner with a friend tonight and she said that Gordon had found out who Batman was after talking to Bruce when he saved Reese. We're all on the same page that he didn't know who he was just because he showed up there and saved Reese, right? I didn't want to get into a huge debate but she really thinks Gordon knows who Batman is now :hehe:
