How could the "modified sonar cell phone technology" produce a semi 3-D image? From the sonar machines used today, they can only project blobs or patches of light on the viewscreen. Also, sonar tech today is no where near as detailed and advanced as seen in TDK. How exactly did that sonar cell phone work, especially during the Batman vs. SWAT scene?

I'm curious at how the "modified sonar cell phone technology" works because Nolan's Bat-films are suppose to be grounded in reality.

After Batman saved Gordon's son, why didn't he activate his cape or fire a grappling gun instead of just crashing down next to Dent? It seems he didn't care. Was he tired? Weak? Or was he suicidal at that point? I mean Dent turned to the dark side and was killed by him, and Rachel died as well.

Why did Joker not bring Scarecrow and the Chech gang into the police instead of just leaving them there? Why did Two-Face flip a coin instead of just shooting Joker and saving us all one hour?
