Ahh you never have been to the rocky horror experience where you are in a theater and they show rocky horror and act it out at the same time and the audience participates

to stay on topic just in case, tim curry could do a great TDKR joker

this is true. only problem with that is there isn't enough time to read it. i'll probably re-do it in the near future though. i didn't add your original crane/two-face comic either. i like it, but i wanted just straight up images of two-face. know what i mean?

don't worry the first one was a kind of test run and you really can't get whas happening

what if someone voice acted it and you put it in with the music

You know guys, for a moment there I was tempted to ask you to do some art for the main titles of my movie. See, my friend is leaving to serve the army for a year (obligatory in Greece) and I fear he might not complete them. But he says he will, so I didn't ask you.
He won't be around to do some concept art for my next Duology though. Hmm...

Ah, I'm jealous...

On topic, I think he's a bit too sleazy for the Joker, not that I don't worship Curry and his colorful career.

PS: Cool, we'll be doing an off-topic and an on-topic comment on each post. I guess itll be okay.

I think he does have that look and almost bi sexual demeanor for TDKR Joker. He would of course be the more classy kind.

yeah. curry could have always been joker.

and gia, as you may or may not know, i can't draw, but i can write. so if you ever need a little help or if you ever wanted to try and film someone else's script, i'm always up for writing something. i like writing for other people.

Well, that can always happen. I usually direct my own stuff, but I don't mind collaborations at all. I never liked to do fanfilms, though.
If you wanna see a trailer, tell me and I'll link you.

ya, i am iffy about fanfilms. I wanted to do one just to do one, but at the same time it just feels silly. I know some people put heart and soul into it but I could see why producers don't allow things like a hamilesque joker onto the big screen

sure sounds cool. i'm a wannabe filmmaker myself. i don't have anything filmed any time recently, but i will in the next couple months, as soon as i get my new harddrive, which is in the mail right now. i'm not too into fanfilms either, or fanfiction. but i AM doing a batman comic with one of the artists on the boards here (but i've mentioned that). so link me up scotty.

as a sidenote, i was trying to upload batdance to youtube, so people can be "batdanced" instead of rickroll'd and it would have the title "PAPA SPANK!" but they rejected it. sucks. apparently you can't upload batdance. i mean i know it's horrid, but still.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=sTiADPRFWrQ there's the two-face video

Cool beans, like I said before, I wanna see it, what it's about sounds very interesting.

Now, about the film, it's the 3rd part of a parody trilogy called Splattermovie (I swear to God, I had never heard of Scary Movie when I did it). Me and my friends did 4 short films then we mashed them up and did a full feature in 2003. Then the sequel Sp2: Judgement Gay in 2005 and now Sp3:V for Ventouza (Ventouza means plunger in greek).
The 1st one parodied Scream, the 2nd Terminator 2(no S&&t Sherolck) and no3 parodies me. They are fully amateur, but still, if you saw tem all, the proggress is apparent. I don't know how my humor is, but with the VERY low budget we had, I'm happy. Plus, they're only tests and experiments for my next serious films. I'm only linking you the teaser, because the other ones have so much Greek in them, you won't be able to get anything. When I subtitle them, I'll link you again.
teaser

PS: Be harsh, I don't mind the criticism.
PS2: In the teaser it says: "In no1, they discovered their sexuality" "In no2, they got cocky and saved the world" "Now... it's time to lock them up".

Two-Face video is great.

cool stuff, its hard to find the perfect music for that. you should try dueling banjos

before I go to sleep think its a good idea to dub the comic I did?

I think I would fiddle around with it ummmmm next week. Tommorow is HALO 3!

gnite kids

(thanks about the two-face video)
teaser seems interesting. i know it's hard to get rid of the amatuer look, that's always a problem when working with no budget. the cutting is good. and the vision is there. can't tell much from the teaser obviously, except that there's a lot of *********ion. that could be funny though. i don't know, i'm interested in seeing a full one with some subtitles. for someone who speaks greek most of the time, you write in english quite well. most people who speak other languages have a lot of grammar errors in their english.

night cap'n. i DO think dubbing it would be a good idea. if you wanted to be harvey, perhaps i could be crane. i like doing voice work. but we can talk about that tomorrow.

Thanx, the *********ion was in Sp1, which you see in black-white, Sp2 was in sepia and had no *********ion. In no3, there sure as hell is no thing there. And no, the *********ion wasn't really funny except for 1-2 cases. From one point on it was too much.
Thank you for the comments, greatly appreciated. Thank you for the language comment, too, I love english and I practice reading and speaking it regularly.
The next movies will be nothing like that. I'm preparing 12 films about the fate of the world (you could find 1-2 similarities with His Dark Imaginings Trilogy), 4 trilogies, each one with different tone and style from the previous. But it's my life's work and I won't do them low-budget. I'm doing the last 2 of the 1st Trilogy semi-proffessionally so as to try and get a break, then I'll start doing them all. I can tell you details and give you the drafts for this 1st Duology in the appropriate subforum if you want me to and are interested.

Gnite Cap!

sounds interesting. i would definitely like to check out scripts, or at least hear plot outlines

I'll see if I can make a thread about it in the general movies forum. I think it'll be too much here.
Plus, I want to say that I hope Scarecrows fear gas effect is more nightmarish in TDK.

yeah. depends on how much scarecrow is in the movie. if there's even time for some fear gas attacks, then i think they will do something really cool.

If the Joker under fear gas rumor is true, then it'll be underwhelming if he goes the BB route for the hallucinations.

definitely. i think joker will be full on cgi under fear gas, and then he would look comic booky but really really scary. that would be cool. i don't know, it all depends on who is fear gassed and what it going on in the scene.

if you wanna amp up your horror movies, there is a cool website that shows you got to do a lot of cheap effects. http://www.indymogul.com/ they have a show called backyard effects. there is a good number of awesome effects in there. a couple ways to do a gunshot, a dummy, basic lighting, rain effect, samurai armor, all kinds of other cool stuff i can't remember. so you should check that out. they have tons of cool ideas, and cheap effects. definitely worth your time if you wanna put that kind of stuff in your movies.

no problem. i figure, from one no-budget filmmaker to another, you gotta share your resources. and i love gore and all that. i always find that nice little effects add a lot to cheap movies. are you familiar with peter jackson's older movies?

I agree. Here's something I found out about: http://www.microfilmmaker.com/
Yes, help among newbie filmmmakers is always a big deal or me. If they all get a break in this, then they'll be like a team, and if they are successful, then we're talking about a generation (see Lucas, Spielberg, Scorcese, DePalma, Coppola). Maybe I'm overly otimistic, but it's a dream, and it should be a big dream, right?

I'm familiar with PJ's older films, which I also consider miles better than the LotR Trilogy of his.

yeah, the idea of a group of people all acheiving success in their field is always the dream.

and yeah, i love the old PJ movies. while LOTR looks better, you can't top the passion that went into his old movies. and while braindead (or as they call it here, dead alive) is his magnum opus, i especially love bad taste and meet the feebles. they really show what you can do on a low budget. and i find them inspirational. took him 4 years to make bad taste. he did almost everything himself. from making the alien masks, to building a crane himself. although, in new zealand the government will finance movies, so eventually they gave him money (the car explosion, the house flying, etc)
