Aquaman is cool; I have nothing against him personally but he's a limited character.

I agree with you that he should have been included in the original seven but that's just my inner Superfriends talking from childhood.
But when water isn't involved, what is he going to do besides riding shotgun with Batman or Wonder Woman?

I did enjoy the ep when he pimp slaps one of the fake Wonder Twins though...

I don't know, maybe knock the s**t outta things much like freaking Hawkgirl?

Limited? He's at least the third strongest on the team, fast, and could have easily taken Hawkgirl's place as the Mystic cure all on the team.

God i hate Superfriends. Ruined the characters image forever.

Fourth strongest. Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman.
You got something against the Fish King? Aquaman rocks and it's a travesty he wasn't included in the original seven to begin with.
Blame it on Hawkgirl's snu-snu.

I curse Superfriends every night before I go to sleep. I'm glad they at least worked Aquaman into JL somehow, even though he really should've been on the core roster or, at the very least, the expanded JLU roster. It was kind of annoying how he was basically just portrayed as Namor, too.

You hit it on the head. It's like they can never find a happy medium with this character.

Too happy, then too brash...

Yes, Captain Marvel went down way too easy in "Clash."
Poor Captain Marvel, his one & only appearance in the DCAU and all he ended up being was a victim of Superman's misdirected anger/resentment. I kinda hated Supes in this episode too. What's really weird is how Superman put more effort into beating up Captain Marvel than he did any of the villains he fought, even someone he all hated like Darkseid.

It's sometimes hard for me to watch "CLASH" because I favor the Big Red Cheese over Supes even though when this particular show first aired, I already knew the outcome. :csad:

I love the part where Lex is acting all concerned: "Captain, PLEASE! There has to be a better way!" :funny:

I so agree with the Clash ep.

I actually loved Clash, finally showed supes had a pair but seeing as Captain is Magic based he should have owned him. The Captain Atom fight is easily the most underrated in the series.

I love what they did with the Question and him getting hooked up with Huntress that was perfect.

The Zeta Project was the weakest out of the DC Universe:o

Superman's best Justice League episodes were "Hereafter, part 2" and "For The Man Who Has Everything" (based on the Alan Moore story).

I totally agree yet a lot of people act like it was the worst thing to come out of DCUA:o

Dan Turpin's death still gets to me.:csad:

John was boring, they should've switched out the Green Lantern's at some point.:o

That ep was the best wtf moment...still send chills:csad:

Best wft moments

1. Dan Turpin's death
2. Batgirl's death. Which was surprisingly violently for a Saturday morning kids show. Timm & Co got away with a lot of ish other shows didn't.
3. Batman singing.:(

2. My god that ep was my god amazing...Gordon was ruthless on Bats
but then if some nut case billionaire mentor my daughter into awinged rat outfit which got her killed by a crazy professor I would go Gordon's route:o

That's what got him killed. In the dreamworld anyway.:o

Shame that cartoons nowadays can't push the limits like the DCAU. The only one that is sort of close is "The Spectacular Spider-man".

His powers were always kind of wonky, too. He's strong enough to kick Darkseid's ass in "Destroyer," but then he was weak enough to be knocked out by every little energy blast or electrical current for years before that. I liked the stories, but Superman himself just didn't feel right to me.

TPTB struggled with how to deal with Superman's power. He couldn't hold the plane and cursed himself(Great Clark!) He can't breath in space and bullets sting him(See "The late Mr kent)

Notice he calls himself "Clark" and once said that he'd go crazy if he were Superman for 24 hours

To be honest, I thought most of the Wonder Woman oriented episodes of JL/JLU were a bit... clunky.

It sort of locks Batman's future into a certain path.
Not necesarily, since no future is certain in comics. Look how many different timelines and AR universes the DCU has explored and crisscrossed. It seems like it would have been a no brainer to have done the same with Terry from Batman Beyond at some point

I LOVED what they did with Question. He was just fun to watch, and his interplay with Huntress was great.

That's another thing they tended to push the envelope with, besides violence. How often did they reference sex in a just-so-indirect way as to not corrupt the kids?

^I noticed that to.

In 'Question Authority,' Huntress swipes a pocket-hard drive from Question and sticks it in her panties...crotch side :wow:

And the animation on Black Canary when she has her little flirting spar with Ollie...whoa!
