You see, I read all that, and I want to believe it. But it just seems like Hollywood double-speak. It seems like he's just being overly nice and trying to paint a nice picture over a bad situation.
For example, the way David Ayer has handled the Suicide Squad situation publicly. He hasn't broken rank like Josh Trank did with Fantastic Four.
Now can I believe that things changed and eventually things were worked out and are more cordial now yeah? But I also get this sense that Goddard's association with the project is out of legal necessity. Now maybe things got worked out and it's not as bad as it seemed. That I can buy, but it's also hard for me to buy there was no animosity at all. This is considering that the reports indicated Marvel, or rather Ike Perlmutter, wanted Goddard removed entirely and have his credits removed from Daredevil.
You might be right, it's hard to know how it really was. Maybe Ike Perlmutter had a huge problem with Goddard, but it was fine between Goddard and people like Jeph Loeb. From what I've heard though, Ike Perlmutter sure seems to be quite the character. I hope he won't have a negative impact on the netflix series.

But glad to see it confirmed.
