I watched Undiscovered Country last night. It's still my favourite Star Trek movie.

It's also the only movie where my favourite ship (the Excelsior class) isn't shown to be run by incompetents.

Yep. The reset option is in the settings. It's easy, but can take a while.

How to wipe a ps3 blank:

Settings > System Settings > Format Utility > Format Hard Disk

This will delete everything on the hard drive. Except for the standard operating software. It takes about 3 hours, but it's the most effective way to get rid of any personal data that might be on the hard drive. Make sure you delete all your user accounts from the ps3 too.

I watched Undiscovered Country last night. It's still my favourite Star Trek movie.

It's also the only movie where my favourite ship (the Excelsior class) isn't shown to be run by incompetents.

I want to LOVE TREK VI. Really... But it's a movie that should have been V. The cast really was too old and it affected the film, even though, yeah, aging was a part of the themes of the film. Still, everyone looked too tired and then they still had Kirk and others taking part in fist fights and the like. Plus, with no Savik as the turncoat there is a lot less emotional oomph to the revelation they did go with.

Which isn't to say there's not lots I really like about it. And it's not a bad Trek movie but, heresy I know... I'll take TREK III over VI most days.

I watched the Jurassic World 2 trailer. I don't know how I feel about a movie where most of the dinosaurs look like they're going to die. I like them more than the human characters. Raptors eat Muldoon and SLJ? They shouldn't have been standing there. Dilophosaurus blinds and guts Newman? Don't be an ******* next time. T-Rex? Legitimate hero of that film.

Mostly, if they kill another T-Rex, I'm going to lose it. LOSE IT.

I haven't even bothered to check out the new trailer. That last one... It's wasn't terrible but for the life of me I can't understand the appeal that made it so popular. There's nothing particularly memorable to me about any of it other than the final fight and maybe the dude that was rushing around looking to flee the dinos AND keep his drinks from spilling.

...I had that T-Rex puppet toy as a kid. It was from The Lost World. It was ludicrously expensive, and made my parents resent me just a little bit more than before.

I will never forget the original JP as it was my first actual date and the girl just near tore my arm off in the theater from being so afraid all the time... I LOVED IT. Made out for way too long on the car ride back to her home. Got her home just a tad late too.
