Just saw the commercial verifying the R rating. Done and done.

Norris must be pissed..IF rumors/reports are right about Norris not wanting the film to be Rated R,Cause of it I expected the film to be PG-13 and an R Rated Director's Cut

Norris couldn't care less it turns out, according to Dolph he has his own editor and could make a G rated version if he really wanted.

Glorious. Bring him back in the reboot!

Here's an updated one from Box Office Mojo

The Expendables 2
Action LGF 8/17/12 R strong violence, language and brief sexuality.

That last bit worries me considering the cast is all men. Ugly men.

Where's the nudity though? The old school 80's action flicks always had random i mean super random amounts of nudity.

Yeah, fight scenes that randomly spill out to a couple having sex is a must. Especially the villain has a homoerotic fixation on the hero.

So glad this got the R rating. I would have been there either way, but this will be so much more satisfying.

Trust in Sly. He will not forsake you.

I'm as hetero as they come, but I'd let Lundgren in my pants... John Travolta style. (not even sure what that means)

This makes me think of "The Fifth Sense" from It's Always Sunny, where Dolph Lundgren can smell crime before it happens, and the twist of the movie is that they show full penetration.

Honestly were any of us going for any other reason but to see these dudes kick the **** out of each other? This entire franchise is basically a male fantasy that has been questioned for decades. What if so and so fought so and so? Who would win?

Ditka.

I will say this... Lionsgate sure is putting a lot of muscle (see what I did there?) behind the marketing... nice to see.

Yeah the marketing has been much better than the first film!

Oh yeah. I'm looking forward to seeing how much screen time Jet Li will get this time around, and how well Liam Hemsworth works with all the other actors. After seeing Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Norris, and Statham do so many action movies for the past 25-30 years...I'm kinda meh on them fighting each other and kicking ass.

And at least Stallone had the sense not to get Channing Tatum involved in this. I'm getting sick of him, frankly.

To be honest, I find it rather shocking that for you, seeing all these action stars 'fighting each other and kicking ass' is very "meh" and that of all things, Liam Hemsworth is one of the more exciting things you're looking forward to.

I mean, not to knock you or anything but, having all of these action legends fighting together is pretty much the point of this entire series.

Its "The Avengers" of action movies.

I think there's a danger that you're missing the whole point of the movie.

Liam Hemsworth is there to bring in at least a few chicks at the box office. C'mon guys it is still a business. Give the studio a pass. It probably wasn't even Stallone's call, even if he had some sway in casting him. He was probably required to throw a pretty boy in there somewhere. You need to feature some young talent otherwise you miss the point of introducing these types of old school action flicks to the next generation. Not that it will ever be taken to the level that these guys took it back in the day.

Exactly. Too many nancy boys and sensitivity rolling around Hollywood and the world alike... I think the testosterone fueled filmmaking days of the 80's/90's are history and the world is not a better place for it!

... so when can we expect Channing Tatum for the Commando remake?
