Surprisingly, I can bear to read Uncanny, despite the current arc mostly taking place in space, because it's readable and not as confusing as most of the DC titles videlicet Infinite Crisis.

Yeah about £40. It's quite a lot to spend every month although I was spending a lot more in earlier days. I've got too many X-Men comics to ever stop collecting Uncanny or adjectiveless. I'm not that interested in the DC universe outside of SUpes & Bats and the JL so buying one comic a month covering both Bats & Supes is ideal. I've certainly noticed how much less I'm spending every month.

Yeah quite difficult coming after the first 700+ issues have already come out. I would only ever get one qualtiy definitive title per character but none of the big ones seem to have one (except Ultimate Spidey I suppose).

Iceman Pylocke, when you get a 360, make sure you get the Premium, not the core. Then you'll be set. You get 1 month free of XBL also. Games I reccomend are: COD2, Oblivion, Dead Rising and definately Saint's Row. COD2 the least, 'cause COD3 isn't too far off.

I just started reading Batman at the current arc. I don't know crap about Batman but I am reading this easily. Pick up Batman at #665 (the 666 just came out last week so it's only 2 issues back). It's a jumping on point and being written by Grant Morrison with Andy Kubert doing the art. For an excellent Batman back history in trade form pick up Year One, The Long Halloween, and Dark Victory. After reading the three of those, I find reading Batman a snap.
