The Flash costume thread

I hope the concept art isn't a reflection of what the real suit will look like, because I think what we saw was disappointing.

The TV show's costume has its faults, sure, but it nailed a few of the core elements (mask shape, chest symbol, ear pieces). This concept art is lacking some of that key Flash iconography, which just strikes me as strange. Obviously it's too early to judge, but still—weird.

And fingerless gloves are idiotic. Why would a forensic scientist knowingly leave his fingerprints everywhere?

Yeah, that's my only gripe with the costume. Can't imagine him working alongside Batman collecting clues like he does in the comics sometimes, with these gloves.

Suit could also use some yellow lines, though it seems that those appear on the costume when he's running, which is a nice and clever way to include them. Anyway, I don't care for the wings, helmet looks sleeker without them.

Would definitely prefer non fingerless gloves, but I'm not bothered by what they went with.

It's a concept art. Pretty sure it'll look better in live action. Besides, most costumes change from movie to movie. Look at Superman in MoS and BvS for example.

I didn't quite like the suit but I'll reserve further judgement till I see more.

Exactly how I feel. Sometimes it's hard to go off of concept art, especially when it's not really a clear picture of it.

I know what it is. I never said that the costume would look just like that in real life. I'm commenting on what I see, not speculating about what I can't.

In all concept arts shown, ezra had variations in the suits. ALL OF THE DESIGNS ARE DIFFERENT. The bullet one looks like dark knight suit material whereas the DCU ONLINE one looks metallic and pretty much like the Dcu online. So the most logical answer is they do not have a finished product like they have for Aquaman, Batman, WonderWoman. This is just a concept art, it could look absolutely nothing like this come 2017 in the Justice League. This most probably confirms Ezra wont appear as superhero flash in BvS

Cyborgs costume/look also had variations throughout. So he is on the same boat as the Flash. He will not appear as CYBORG, most probably as Victor Stone only.

They could've potentionally released the concept art earlier to not just hype up the DCEU but to get public feedback on what they have going. So they will most probably change Ezra's suit and Ray Fisher's look completely. Since the released so many variations of their looks. We could see a similar suit but much more sleaker and with finger covering gloves and with bolt ear wings. We could also likely see a blue teen titans esque cyborg or we could see a red more terminator esque one.

We cannot criticize anything because this is just a concept art. At the end of the day its just cocept art. Like the concept art of Jason Momoa as DRAX , Batista looked alot different from that design. Also it looks like the rushed this one too, because its straight from DCU ONLINE, I would be happy if we get an exact replica of that suit though, maybe a bit skinnier to fit Ezra more. Also we cannot criticize at all because this is just concept art. Nothing official of what he will look, its just possibilities of what he might look like , since they have different variations.

Look again buddy.. They all follow a sort of similar look, but the DCU online one kind of felt out of place. Cyborg look was different throughout.. They were all poorly created. Bosslogic could've done a better job at it
So expect something else..

Ps spiderman is going to be wearing a hoodie or having circular eye shutters apparently..
Different costumes allow characters to be more appealing. Hopefully flash has tons of costumes that range from armour to spandex.. I would like something like dead pools costume- the same sort of material thing..

Yeah, I am going to try and keep my powder dry here. I would have to actually see this concept art fleshed out in three dimensions. More to the point though... I just have a hard time thinking the final product wouldn't have either a classic version of the Flash symbol or the head wings, or that the creative teams wouldn't get push back for the fingerless gloves, given all the talk of verisimilitude.

Then again... Do we all remember how the fanboys ACTUALLY reacted to the first look at Grant in the CW suit, apparently NOW the gold standard? Just saying...

I you look closely, you can see that these three are all the same suit:

With the exception of the DCUO suit which was moddified to look like the three above

Notice how they all share the same design elements? (Fingerless gloves, lack of ear wings and a single bolt on the chest with no white circle) That seems to be the general idea that Snyder and Wilkinson are pushing with Flash's suit. I'm positive that these concepts are going to be very close to the final product.

They're certainly very similar... but, for one, cowl looks slightly different in the art where Flash is running, much less angular than in that JL art.

We can see Michael Wilkinson is taking a lot of inspiration from Injustice and DCUO
