Maybe it's just me, but I think that every fan piece that takes inspiration from the concept art looks horrible. (The designs, not the artwork.)

I really hope the finished product will bear only superficial similarities to the concept art.

I agree. I can honestly say I really am not a fan of the concept art design. Batman, Superman, Woner Woman and yes, even Aquaman have gotten costumes that are pretty great adaptations of their looks which comic fans can instantly recognize (As my friend Ed likes to say, "Long haired gladiator look Arthur is MY JAM).

But there is too much "off model" so to speak with Flash as far as we have seen so far. Lack of the head pieces is pretty big, for me. The symbol needs to be a more classic design and those fingerless gloves got to go in my opinion. These are perhaps small but without them it's far less a case of instant recognition and more generic character in a red body suit. Granted we are a ways away from JL so here is hoping there are adjustments, which is well within the realm of possibility.

Yeah, the fingerless gloves seem like a really odd choice for a CSI to make on his superhero costume, ditch them and give him some bolts that actually stick out at least a little and it would make a world of difference, white circle around logo would be nice too.

I agree with the above posts. Not a fan of the concept art; I hope it isn't representative of the final costume.

On a side note, I had a dream about the new costume last night. The suit looked good, but the biggest detail was the person wearing the suit. It was Carlos Valdez.

the Aquaman suit took some departures, but it actually looks fantastic. those were good changes. these changes are unnecessary and improve nothing.

Hopefully Snyder and Wilkinson respond to the bad buzz and give us something more comic accurate

we should be allowed to be critical. we are in the golden age of superhero movies. most costumes lately have been comic book accurate and awesome looking, this Flash suit is one of the worst superhero suits of the past few years

We haven't even seen the ****ing thing yet.
You're comparing probably really early concept art to final/physical costumes on the actual actors.
Does that really make sense to you?

Not sure if those are proper wings/bolts or painted on. I will say it, even without a closer look seems to be shaping up nice.

the ear wings look way better here. that concept art was horrible but this looks

that Funko figure also appears to show a more classic Flash emblem as well. now we just gotta hope they ditched the fingerless gloves idea. Every new idea that the concept art brought to the table was worse than the original, but this suit looks pretty decent in this newest pic.

That preview of the suit looks sick. Snyder has not disappointed me yet when it comes to the costumes.
