What's Star Trek's OW shaping up to be like? I predicted about 70 million in the US.

Damn I was never aware of all the damage created by that f**ktard. I pray that he doesn't ruin the remaining Narnia films. I just hope that Walden have some backbone. Also Douglas Gresham won't allow silly changes to happen either. As long as it's just Distribution and NOT getting his grubby mitts into the Creative side of things I'll be happy.

Other than that I'm feeling like boycotting every FOX movie from now on (except for Narnia).

Narnia is **** on toast...the only reason Disney got behind it was because they were tired of Harry Potter kicking their ass year after year....when it didn't take, Disney cut them loose

Ah, that's too high for me to want it. I just want this film's money to drop off the face of the earth.
I don't want it to go that high but those are my projections. 28mil is like a 67% drop so that is very bad for the flick and 30mil is like a 65% drop so anyone of those numbers and even a little higher than 30mil still points to a huge drop. As I have been saying all week, X-Men movies have s**t legs and Orgins being a bad flick isn't helping matters.

I just hope ST get's great word of the mouth and will maintain a steady gross next week. It could very well be number 1 again.
That would be nice but I'm 100% sure Angels and Demons is doing atleast 50mil and Trek won't hold up that well unless it has makes 75mil this weekend and drops 30% or under...not likely on either end.

I don't think that the movie is a lock for 70mil over the weekend but I certainly hope it makes that much. I'm being safe and projecting 66-68mil.

I believe they predicted at least $70 million this weekend.

Yeah, I do think A&D is gonne make around $50 million or so. Less than DVC of course. But it'll be interesting to see how much this film makes in the coming weeks. If this film did get great word of the mouth.

I really don't remember the following weeks of the other X-Men films, I was too young to keep up with them, because well, I was 8, then 11, then in Florida during X3 so I couldn't really keep up with it.

I want someone to make a movie about how Fox f's things up.

It should be a documentary. Michael Moore are you listening?

**** Michael Moore. Like I really need to see his fatass talking about how Tom Rothman screws things up... get Al Gore or something.

Al Gore? Are you serious? The whole film would be him standing by a river, a solemn look on his face, talking about how he wants his children to enjoy a future filled with quality entertainment.

I'll take Michael Moore any day. His over-the-top muck-raking would be a perfect counterpoint to Fox's shameless corporate antics.

lol @ Al Gore.

Id love to see a Documentary about a fat guy telling me how bad rothman sucks ass.

What we would get is an off topic film.

Yeah, Bay would be well, awesome. I would love for him to barge into Fox's office and yelling orders to everyone. Then to Rothman. "Your films suck!"

"Why?"

"They don't have any explosions! But yours in Wolverine sucked!"

Then, at the end of the film, he blows up the studio with him walking away in the it's wake.

:hehe:

That would be damn sweet though. Like the shot in Wolverine with him walking away from the helicopter.

Someone should do a gif of the 20th Century Fox logo and Bay blowing it up in that "awesome" commercial.

Disney were stupid putting Caspian in the May slot up against Iron Man and Crystal Skull when the film was better suited to the Christmas Holidays. That's the reason why the movie never performed as well as it should have.

And I swear if Rothman meddles in the Narnia films I will hunt him down. The next person I can't stand next to Rothman is $haron Osbourne. But that's another story. Evil money grubbing scoundrels like the above need to BURN!!!

when it comes to narnia i will say nothing. it was dumb from Disney to get smart and realese it in may. it was a december movie IMO. so its their fault to lost money. and since they f... up i wont bash FOX for doing the same.

This gave me a good laugh. :applaud

I guess Rothaman and company care more about baby ducklings than their own films. I'm a bit surprised honestly.
