Well the photoshop pic is bad but I agree with you. Johnny Depp would make a great Gambit.

Without a hesitate, in Dreamland i vote Johnny Depp for Gambit!!!:up::up:

If he was at least a decade younger he would play no doubt!

But if we need Georges Jeanty's Gambit, then the young actor Michael Cassidy would be really nice as far as look is concerned (i don't know if he's good since the tv channel that broadcasts O.C. here is never on schedule and haven't seen him so far). But still make up artists and special effects people of movie would have a lot of work to do to make him look like gambo way...

And its obvious Zen Gesner has the look of Gambit, but still have no idea of his acting talent. If Anna Paquin keeps on with ROgue role, then they have to put a really really talented actor next to her and then the couple is gonna rock!:xmen:

Yeap... That's the man we need!

ok who agrees that Gambit looks just like Clint eastwood in this picture. I mean a Clint Eastwood 40 years younger of course.

Sam Raimi at Comic-Con: "Fans have always loved Venom. He's the reason he's in this movie"

YOU HEAR THAT FOX!? That is the sound of why Spiderman is a succesful franchise! The character is in the movie cause the fans love him! Getting any hints yet?

The excuse they'll use for not putting him in X-4 ought to be good. They are really creative.

*Pokes thread with a stick*
What,y'all bored with it already ?
(No one's posted since the third.)

One of my choices, aside from some of those mentioned,is Tom Welling. Now,please hear me out before you disagree.

An actor's whole purpose is molding themselves into different roles.
So,even if he is established as Clark Kent on Smallville, who's to
say he wouldn't make a good Gambit ? To me he's already very handsome,
and I'm sure he'd make a cute brunette, too.Just think about it awhile.Maybe the idea will grow on you.

Eh ?Eh ?? Doesn't he look like our man ? Even just a smidge ?

^I like him better than other choices but there are other actors I prefer. I could warm up to this idea though.

I've always liked the idea of Stephen Dorff. I think it's to do with his charisma.

I really liked him as Deacon Frost but he's short. Gambit can't be shorter than Wolverine. They could have used that effect they used on the hobbits in Lord of the ring to make Wolvie look a bit shorter.

True, but they could use lifts like James Marsden did.

Thanks! Glad you kinda like the idea.:)

I myself absolutly love the ideas of either Oliver Martinez or Zen Gesner
for the role.(I've been saying Oliver for a couple years now after seeing
him in a movie, but Zen definitly caught my attention.Being female,I say if I don't think of him as attractive,he's not Remy material.Remy has to be attractive-that's what he's all about!)

IMO, that Michael Cassidy kid isn't right for the role.
No offense, but he looks a little too...chubby to me in a couple of those
pics.(Not that I have anything against chubby guys in general,
but I'm more into muscle-y dudes,myself.)
He's kinda good looking, but he's no Tom Welling,I'll tell ya that much.
Maybe he'd make a better Icarus instead.-Yeah,he's definitly got
a bit of an Icarus look to him.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw him. That's why I casted him in my dream X-5.

i recently just saw tristan and isolde and there was one actor who caught my eye and i thought he looked like a perfect gambit.
