personally i dont get the fuss with ryder - his videos (from what i have seen) have done nothing for me - but he has got over with fans and fair play I would like to see him on TV i think he has made the best of a hard situation

Same here. I don't get it. His videos do nothing for me. Sometimes they just annoy me. Same with his (rare) TV appearances.

A part of me thinks he's only so over because he's not on TV. It's the "cool, anti-mainstream" factor.

But you're right. I'll give credit where credit is due. He's taken an interesting route to get himself known, even if I think his actual work sucks. And I guess that's why I've no desire to see him on TV. Hard work =/= good, and I don't see anything good about the guy.

If Punk interupts tonights title match I could see them doing an Elimination Chamber match for the vacant title at Summerslam, just to give the show a marquee match.

.
Or even a Scramble Match

For once, I agree with Metallo.

I don't wanna see Rey Rey win, because Rey Rey winning means Del Rio cashes in, means Cena v. Del Rio at Summerslam, means Cena takes the title back, means Cena keeps the title again until his match with The Rock at Wrestlemania, because when CM Punk comes back, Cena will probably beat Punk to "unify" the title so that Rock and Cena can have their title match.

On top of my bromance with Mike, I think that Miz winning the belt, and holding it until CM Punk comes back, and feuding with CM Punk when he returns, only for Punk to win the feud, "unifying" the title, is much more interesting, even if Punk does end up losing it to Cena to protect the title match.

Let Del Rio hold on to his briefcase for a little bit. While an instant cash in is rather exciting, I think a guy holding the Money in the Bank briefcase for an extended period of time will go a lot further towards building the guy up to main event / title status than an instant cash in. Miz' cash in worked because he held the briefcase for what, 5, 6 months? In the meantime, he had tag team title reigns with Big Show and Chris Jericho, he had 2 United States Championship runs, and a feud with Bret Hart. He got a lot of relevance. I think Del Rio could use that as well. I think Del Rio has a lot more insta-cred than Miz, but if they take their time with Del Rio, and let him hang on to the briefcase for awhile, I think it will do wonders for him.

Unfortunately, the first scenario in my post is a lot more realistic. :csad::csad::csad:

Miz and Jericho never held the belts. Also his reign with show was before he won MITB.Also he held to the briefcase for about 4 months.I agree though let Del Rio hold it a bit longer.

I stand corrected. I thought Miz and Jericho held the belts together.

Was last year's Money in the Bank also in July? Because Miz cashed in on November 22.

July, August, September, October, November, that'd been 5 months. But that's assuming last year's MITB was held at roughly the same time last year (this year was July 17th). And I guess it's arguing semantics.

The point remains, before cashing in and winning the WWE Championship, Miz was built up with a tag team title reign with Big Show, put into a tag team with Jericho, held 2 United States Championships, and feuded with Bret Hart. He had a bunch of gold, and worked with a bunch of high profile people, got Money in the Bank, and held onto it for a number of months, building up credibility before finally cashing in.

Like I said, I think Del Rio has more natural credibility than Miz does, and doesn't necessarily need as much as Miz did to become credible, but I think by taking their time with it, they can better capitalize on Del Rio's potential.

They have big plans for Rey right now, I expect him to be champ either going into Summerslam or by the end of the show. No idea where that leaves Cena unless there's a triple threat. Del Rio should hold his MITB for a while, I can NOT take anymore Rey v Del Rio.

Also, the WWE title match is opening the show. Yeah, I'm sure that'll end with a clean, decisive victory and no shenanigans will happen...

Aww they're using the same belt design...

this is an unexpected start.... and the first live raw ive watched not featuring austin or rock

Well, they're getting right to the nitty-gritty tonight, aren't they?

I like when the guys are introduced in the ring before title matches

Well since this match is opening the show, my prediction:

Rey Mysterio wins. Del Rio cashes in. Wins the belt. By the end of the night, CM Punk comes back to declare himself the "real" champion.

Hope I'm wrong. I want to see Miz win.

Also... did Michael Cole say that no matter what else is happening in America, nothing is bigger than seeing a new WWE Champion crowned?

My God, Cole.

My God, Cole.

Cole says at least one stupid thing each week. And it's usually much more than just one. I hope no one's turned that into a drinking game, because there would be a lot of bad hangover's on Tuesdays if so.

Obvious shot at the NFL is obvious. I hate Michael Cole so much.

Obvious shot at NFL? I thought it was an Obvious shot at Barry O once again speaking about nothing.

Oh you're right, as far as I'm concerned, Punk needs to be gone for a few months.

But I'm not counting on WWE to book this angle properly.

punk prob should be gona for a while.....but i want him there now, he is the reason im watching this tonight

We should at least see Punk Live... Via satellite from time to time.

King just asked Cole if he was deaf... Pretty sure there was a BIG Miz is Awesome chant early on.

Unfortunately, King isn't much better. Complaining about Cole's personal pro-Miz bias when his anti-Miz bias is just as personal. :whatever::whatever:

Nice powerbomb tho. :awesome:
