We kiss them before we go to bed at night. :p

Just imagine these people being muslims. Especially how FOX would report on it.

Oh my God LT, you literally can’t be serious... Are you truly this dense? I can’t be sure about voting as I haven’t got access to all the statistics. But what I have gleaned from the meagre facts that I have seen?
Not one person has ever died directly from placing their vote on a ballot card.

So me wanting to apply common sense and say if someone's mature enough to say drive, why are they NOT mature enough to own a gun till 5 years later, is me being 'dense'? More proof liberals have no desire to actually debate things, just call the other side names, to shut them up..
Congrats you just joined my ignore list..

Driving should have a sensible minimum age limit, as a car has the potential to be lethal if driven badly. And before you jump on this comment LT, guns are specifically made to kill and cars are not.

BUT owning a gun is a right via the 2nd amendment, NO WHERE is driving a right.

And now Kroger is getting in on the "21 to buy a gun" train.

Strange, i never even knew Kroger SOLD guns let alone ammo..

But i go back to my comment from Monday.. How is it ok to impose moral restrictions in saying "You have to be 21 to buy a legal product", but its IMMORAL To say "cause of my religious beliefs, i cannot cater your gay wedding"?

That is illegal in the United States of America, beyond making the business owner an immoral bigot.

In don't know if this has been posted here, but this is a radiologist, who has handled thousands of handgun wounds, and how they differed from the AR-15 wounds he saw from Parkland.

When people argue rifles like this aren't weapons of war, that they aren't military grade, remember this.

QFT

The fact US military uses a variant of this sort of rifle should tell you all you need to know about it's capabilities. There really is no need for a civilian to be able to freely own rifles capable of doing damage like this IMO.

Handguns I could accept as being self defense weapons, even shotguns maybe I could accept as being home defense although you are getting a little crazy even with them, but for me an those sorts of semi-automatic rifles have no place in the hands of anyone other than law enforcement or military.

Putting an age limit on something is not a MORAL restriction, it's a restriction in the interest of public safety. It's not even remotely comparable to refusing to service a gay person.

I agree. :(

Kroger sells them in their Marketplace stores....they are as large as Walmart.

That is apples and oranges....It is about public safety, not imposing their morals....good grief.

And just to be clear, the baker stood on his 1st Amendment right of Freedom of Speech in the Supreme Court case, in that he is an artist and his cakes are his sculptures....He wasn't catering the wedding, he was baking the wedding cake.

How mature is someone at 21? People can grow up a hell of a lot by the time they hit 21. What looks like a "I'm going to murder everyone" issue in high school turns into "Man **** that place and everyone in it." memory a few years later.

The big difference between guns vs cars is that with cars you have mandatory training, license and safety laws which will get your vehicle taken away if you screw around too much.

You can give guns as gifts and there's no mandatory training for the people who get them.

Big ****ing difference.

And the NRA and Pence yelled at Trump this evening. We will see if any of it sticks in his tweets tomorrow.

I hope all they did was make him push back harder.

Guns puncture organs, tears flesh, and kills people, gay people only puncture bigots and trigger their latent fantasies.

Because cakes don't ****ing kill people.

They also sell guns at their Fred Meyer stores here on the West Coast, but that's about it and I can't remember the last time I've heard anyone buying a gun from them. All that these 21-and-over policies and semi-auto bans by the big box stores do is just make people go to their local gun shops or the big box sporting goods stores that do sell them.

Being sexual identity/gay marriage was NOT a 'right' (as per the scotus) at the time, how were they breaking the law?
AND How is it being an immoral bigot to say "Sorry, but my religion says i can't do X">> OR are muslim bakeries who refuse to sell pork also 'immoral bigots'??

You do realize most firearms were BASED ON MILITARY WEAPONRY first.. So by that logic, "Cause its used by the military"< lets ban all .306's, 9mm and M1911 .45 pistols etc..

Putting an age limit on something is not a MORAL restriction, it's a restriction in the interest of public safety. It's not even remotely comparable to refusing to service a gay person.

So if its in the public interest to age restrict stuff for 'safety reasons'. Lets mandate no one can own a cell phone till 24 (since a large percentage of texting and driving accidents comes from the 23 and under crowd), and stop kids driving till 22...

How mature is someone at 21?

Welll, if they are mature enough to get married at 17, drive at 16 (15 in some states), or join the military at 17 (with parental permission), why are they NOT mature enough till 21 to own a gun??

The big difference between guns vs cars is that with cars you have mandatory training, license and safety laws which will get your vehicle taken away if you screw around too much.

There's licensing you have to get for guns in many states. Not just that, but there are a # of states, where when you wish to buy one, as part of trying to get said license, you have to tell the sheriff "WHY You feel you should have one"? Know of any Other constitutional right, one must explain to a cop, why one feels they need to use that right?? I don't.

Are you suggesting it is not against US law to discriminate against people for being gay or bisexual? Refusing someone a service because they are gay or bisexual is no different then refusing them service because of the color of their skin. Using your religion to justify that does not change it.

Not selling pork to everyone is not the same to not selling cakes to people because of who they sleep with.

No, let's not. Why do you keep conjuring up these non-sequitur slippery slope arguments when someone defeats your point? They're not gonna stick because they have nothing to do with the topic at hand or your original point.

Deflection is all this movement has left in their arsenal of disingenuous rhetoric.

This nested quoting stuff is hard, but here goes...

Buddy, that must be getting to be a long list... :sly:
And if I am now on your ignore list? I tell you, I must be doing something right with my life, if someone with your mindset does not like my opinions.
