I doubt "You're my boy" is THAT track honestly.

The soundtrack needed a really sad, powerful song for [BLACKOUT]Gwen's Death[/BLACKOUT], not seeing it

It's the end of I'm Goblin, and probably You're My Boy although there's a couple other things that could work.

You're that Spider Guy is the final swing/lead up to the credits.

I wonder why the score has not been mentioned much in reviews? :O

Because people aren't looking for good things to say about the movie, only what complaints they can come up with.... while seemingly reluctantly stating what parts they 'unfortunately' found good....

:cwink:

but in all seriousness, I've been wondering the exact same thing/waiting for a review to mention the score as well... Because let's be real, this isn't just a plain piece of music accompanying a movie, this score is frickin' brilliant

The ONLY mention of the score was on that shady blog...

That review was overly glowing, probably a Sony employee or something

This score is one of the best scores I have ever heard. Combined with the Emma/Andrew chemistry, some sweet action scenes and the whole spiderman thing, this is going to be a super enjoyable film, regardless of its flaws.

This music would make a video of spiderman eating cereal an oscar winner

I pray to god 'Song for Zula' is used somewhere in the movie, either film or credits I don't care where, and not just a song on the official soundtrack

One of the reviews said it was in the movie.

I remember reading in a review that it was used during the scene where Peter and Gwen reunite at Union Square.

No ******** this is one of the best scores I've ever heard... and I've listened to a lot of them.

I am super hyped for the movie, the soundtrack has given me some hope :)

Yep, "You're That Spider Guy" is probably going to be the closing of the movie.

Ah for real??? Yessss. Absolutely love the feel/vibe of that song.

I'm sorry, with all the things I know are in this movie, I just don't see how it couldn't be pretty- to flat out great

For sure. It has parts that may mirror Peter's heartache and hesitation to continue going on, being the hero, but his ultimate resolution to do what he knows he needs to do with the powers he's been given, no matter how hard it is for him personally. Ultimately building back up to the resounding triumphant theme that had been previously established as his selfless, heroic mantra early on

I think the angry parts in "You're That Spider Guy" have to do with Rhino.

The last 30 seconds of "You're That Spider Guy" is basically the instrumental version of the rapping part in It's On Again

You're that Spider Guy is my favorite

I hope HZ and the magnificent six come back

@71 you just summed it up perfectly

I stayed up for this soundtrack, it was absolutely incredible. But I have school in 6 and a half hours haha :D. #Iregretnothing

Are any of you guys musicians? If so, do you think any of these songs in particular would translate well to guitar/piano covers?

Dude. The Electro stuff is PERFECT for guitar.

The main theme is real easy on piano, as well. Are you planning on doing covers?

^reminded me of Gene from Bob's Burgers :pal: Or that's the voice I read that last part in at least ha

But yeah, I'd stay up for daysss for this soundtrack. It's just that good. Glad you seemed to love it as much as I did

I was thinking about it, yeah. I haven't done one for a video in a long time. And I've erased most of my videos from my YouTube channel. i wanted to do one for Horner's score, but it just didn't sound right on guitar. Sounded good on piano, though. I was hoping I could get the feel for a cover of a track from this movie.

Cool. I was thinking of doing maybe a few covers, as well.

Is the download safe now, btw? Or will Sony crucify me, you think?
