Well so far I'm enjoying the score quite a bit, a lot of the dubstep sounding stuff for Electro is very enjoyable, I dig the darker stuff for Goblin as well and FINALLY Spidey gets his own theme and I absolutely love it, but overall I still need to soak the full score as a whole in to make a final judgement.

Has anyone else noticed how "You're That Spider-Guy" leads directly into "It's On Again"?

It's a very nice touch.

Is it just me or is "So much anger" completely different from the sample...

My favorite so far is 'We're best friends'. I thought it was Harry-related, but it sounds way too romantic, lol. The title kind of gives away a bit of the story between Pete and Gwen.

I LOVE I'm Goblin, very reminiscent of what Zimmer did with those dissonant chords for his Joker theme, pretty chilling.

Pharrell's Here is on Youtube now as well. Very good pop song.

Gave in and listened to some of the YT links last night. More so the ones you guys were praising. All very good stuff.

I wonder if I'm Goblin is during transformation or not.

I loved Han's work for MOS so I'll compare how this one resonates with me.

I hate to say this but I've already made up my mind that this score is nowhere near as good as what Zimmer did in MOS, but again that's just me.

Agree, mate. Also his Rush soundtrack is better than ASM2.

Zimmer said from the jump that this was going to be unlike anything he'd ever done. He was going to experiment with new ideas. People shouldn't have expected it to be like his other scores.

I'm loving it, it exceeded my expectations really.

To each their own. Bummer you guys aren't diggin it

I haven't seen/heard Rush so I can't speak to that at all, but I thought his MoS was brilliant as well, so TASM2 falling short of that for some wouldn't surprise me all that much

For me, on the other hand, this personally blows me the hell away, just because as it was previously stated, it was completely unlike anything I've ever heard before for a film score. So much creativity and depth and diversity

Is it just me or does Zimmer's Spider-Man theme work just as well or better as a Superman theme?

Rush as a movie and a soundtrack is AWESOME. You have to see it, even if you're not a fan of F1.

I like TASM 2 soundtrack. Much better that the one in TASM 1. The main theme is great, and the force of Zimmer's tracks is there. It's kind of weird to end with "You're That Spidey Guy" and go into "It's on Again" though. Kendrick part actually has sense now lol

Anyway, it sound sgreat, and it makes the movie look like a pretty dark movie. Makes me hyped.

Really like We're Best Friends, I Chose You, You Need Me and My Enemy but the rest is quite meh. Like I don't understand music or something so just my personal opinion. ;)

What do you guys think "We're Best Friends" is going to correlate to in the film? From the 0:40 sec mark on it has about 1:30 of straight sad/emotional music

The fun of scores is actually hearing it while watching the movie... Placement is key. We should be reserving ourselves a bit until we see the movie.

I didn't expect it to be like anything else he's every done, though in many aspects much of it IS like a lot of the other stuff he's done so not sure where you're going with that.

I really do enjoy it, I never said I dislike it I think it's pretty awesome and as I said in the last page I LOVE the theme he gave Spidey, it's probably the best actual superhero movie theme in decades.

DIS AND DIS. That's why I refrained from listening to it.

True this. Have to keep this in mind while listening.

So much connection with his MOS score.

But I feel it's only fair to watch TASM2 first with the score. That's how you explore how it resonates with you with the picture. For me anyhow.

See it may be different for me, when I got the MOS score before the film came out It immediately resonated with me and I fell in love with it, when I saw the film it made it even better.

I love Zimmer, love his score for MOS, very much enjoy the Rush one, but yeah, for me, no doubt, TASM2 is superior to both, but then again, it's Spidey that it is associated with.
