Yes, the tune on the website does hint at the Horner melody via the trumpets, but overall it's a brand new sound. For this cue at least.

I think Zimmer's supposed theme, actually might be starting to grow on me.

Looking back, I kinda hated Horner's theme before seing the movie, but came out loving it, after seeing the movie.

I think this might just work out.

If the music on the site is Zimmer, there are two words that perfectly describe it. Friendly and youthful. Bright too haha. But that's for the most part what Spider-Man is.

I'm not ready to judge Zimmer based on the trailer music nor the website. Both sound good but they're also kinda generic and I can hear bits of MoS in there. That's something I was worried about. Doesn't really mean much considering he had to rush to compose something for the trailer. I'll wait to see what else develops.

I love Zimmer's work on the site, but the part towards the very end where the descending notes each repeat twice sounds kinda weird to me. Hopefully it get tweeked a little before the final release.. Other than that good stuff

Horner's music for the opening of TASM -- Columbia logo, Marvel logo, cgi spiders and SM logo, then transitioning into young Peter -- was pureee magic. And I was so eager on getting to hear that intro 2 or 3 more times for each sequel... Bummer. Hopefully Hans (who is my favorite composer) can make me feel that same way again

That was actually pretty awesome. It's not like I disliked it when hearing it on the site or anything, but that definitely made it sound so much better. Still not sure if I like it as much as TASM, but it's pretty damn close now

Wait, what? I thought the whole reason the trailer was delayed was because Zimmer wanted to write the music for it. He was quoted as saying so.

The music is from the official ASM2 site. It is Zimmer's work, but no one seems to know if it's going to be in the movie or not.
