Link broken. Nowhere to be found on Ytube, they took it down.
Nice find, dude. Thanks.
Is it weird that I held back in tears when I heard the main theme switch to a more piano voice? #whocares
It hit me in the feels at that point, too. Nicko, you're not alone.
Right there with you guys... as soon as I noticed that intro theme switched over to piano.... man, that was beautiful. I pray that's what he's planning on using in the film![]()
Even the part right at the end, like when the text comes up at the end of the video. That part alone sounds pretty haunting and great... He really does never cease to amaze me
I don't think the piano part at the end is Zimmer's? Not saying the track wasn't great, but does attaching attaching Han Zimmers name to something give the perception of being greater than it would've been otherwise? Same thing with the music used in the SDCC trailer. Sounded like Horner's theme but redone with a more electronic sound, so people assumed it was early work by Zimmer and claimed it an improvement over Horner (I think someone confirmed that it wasn't Zimmer's track though).
The video was done in collaboration with omaze for charity. It could've been a random ambient piano track that you could find a thousand times over on the internet.
I wonder if the website music is the main theme?

Agreed. Interested to see what he's going to do with the big action sequences since he claims he's gonna try to approach it differently this time.I'm loving that piano piece right there. Great stuff. This is why I really like Zimmer, while he can score big bombastic action sequences, he's still outstanding at making quiet, beautifully light emotional stuff too.
Not saying Horner wasn't able to achieve that, but this just sounds really good already.
Zimmer is going to bring this movie to a whole new level imo.![]()
I also think its great that we have a supergroup doing the score. More great musicians to inspire each other.
