I think there's enough blood too.

I love this line from the tv spots:

"The sinner, becomes the saint."

i like how he describes/narrates his assassination

so classy

Y/W guys. Trailer has really sold me on this, the kills and the style of the movie look superb IMO.

I LOVE that opening shot from behind of 47 walking down the hallway.

Videogame nostalgia FTW

i just noticed the guy who composed the VGs score is scoring the movie!
awesomeness!

i've never played the first Hitman game. So is this movie based on the first game? like the same story and characters? or is it all a new story.

I've got a good feeling about this movie. I think it could actually stand a chance at being the first legitimately good film based on a game. I probably won't be a thought provoking, culture-defining experience, but it looks like it could be fun and intelligent enough to not make you feel like you just watched it for action scenes. Maybe, just maybe this could be the movie that makes people finally start taking games seriously as source material.

I don't trust the direction of this film at all. I just believe it's a film based on nothing more than nice homages to the game with no story, horrible acting, mindless action, and a female sidekick that isn't needed at all.

Silent Hill, in my opinion, is the only good video game movie so far at the moment.

yeah silent hill is still the best adaptared film yet.

but this movie doesnt look like it has bad acting at all...
define "mindless action"
we shall see whether the female is needed or not

Silent Hill was pretty good as far as horror films go, but it wasn't mindblowing. It was decent, but it wasn't like it broke down the "video game movies suck" barrier. For that to happen, there needs to be a videogame movie that is genuinely successful with the mainstream that's actually a good film. Silent Hill was a mild success (and easily the best video game movie yet), but hardly anything to write home about in terms of popularity or critical praise.

It's going to take a serious video game based film to break down the barriers and allow them to be taken seriously. Can Hitman do it? Possibly. But the direction they're going with it doesn't appear to me that it'll be the one to do it.

If done right it could be the beginning of serious video game based films, however, if it's horrible it will leave Silent Hill has the only good/decent video game movie.

I'm a huge fan of the Hitman games and I feel the film should be more like Bourne/Casino Royale in its style, visuals, and characters. It also doesn't help that Fox is apart of this production as well, you know?

You guys didn't like mario Bros? It had nothing to do with the game at all. Dennis hopper ordering extra spicy pizzas without the mammal. Priceless... oh well just me then

Or the fire balls, that are now flame throwers. The little bomb that freaks people out. The deevolution chair! What a great movie. Had nothing to do with the game

I say Final Fantasy The Spirits Within was the best video game movie, even though i've never played the video games nor do i have any idea what they hell they are all about
