I looked at the vids, i'd never have cast that guy if i wanted to make money.
Good thing you're not making films, because if Peter Jackson went with your way of thinking LOTR would've flopped horribly.

That doesn't make any sense at all and you know it, he cast Viggo Mortensen, a top class actor who doesn't look mid 50's with no personality.
My point is Peter Jackson went with actors who weren't virtually well known.
They were known yes, but they weren't well known and he even admitted that he considered the actors/actresses unknowns with the exception of Elijah and Liv. And who's to say you can't touch up Bateson to give him a 47 look?
And he definitely has personality. 47 isn't supposed to be some lively individual anyways.
Ian and Lee? Sean Bean? Hugo Weaving? John Rhys-Davies? Jackson went with A LOT of well-knowns...My point is Peter Jackson went with actors who weren't virtually well known.

Bateson's the model for 47?
Olyphant looks alot more like 47 than Bateson does.
but he is 47 right? isnt this what you are saying? why touch him up if he is 47 ? if he is the model then there should be no change with hes look. and he is young .this is how you make a franchiseMy point is Peter Jackson went with actors who weren't virtually well known.

stop posting those pics because if noone would say it noone would notice it.Yes, Bateson is the model for Agent 47. He provides the voice and his face is used as a model for the character.
Here, let's compare photographs.

I think we should all be glad that we didn't get Vin Diesel. Olyphant hasn't convinced me totally, but I'm willing to give him a chance. The only thing that really bothers me is that he just looks so young, and doesn't really have the badass killer vibe.
They're well knowns but NOT to the extent of say a Will Smith, Olyphant, Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire, and etc.
Ian McKellum and Christopher Lee I would say yeah, Weaving from the matrix films alone almost trumps Maguire and Jackman before they became "Superheroes"They're well knowns but NOT to the extent of say a Will Smith, Olyphant, Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire, and etc.
His lips and brow-line convinced me he's got the look.
He's not exactly like game 47, but he IS very menacing looking in his own right, so it'll work well I think. I just hope we get sequels.
