-The shooting will begin March 19 in Bulgaria.

some machete hits

About Hitman :D ;) Xavier came back on Allociné to give us some news (after that one of our member asked him some specific question about the music.. meaning you're welcome . i will traducce :cwink: )

Hello!!

.........About the music , we are trying to get the rights of Jesper kyd music for the game , and also some other artist for the original soundtrack .
Jean-Pierre Taieb is gonna work with me on the soundtrack and is gonna adapt the original game music ..for the moment we are trying to convince Trent Reznor of "Nine Inch Nails" to partipate , and also que Liz Fraser (Lord of the rings), Placebo, Aphex Twin and Massive Attack for some of the necessary songs for some parts of the movie

here's what i can say for the moment about the music.

I'm going back on it

kiss

Xavier.
Hello!
J'y retourne
bise
Xavier

Dougray Scott Chasing Hitman
Source: IGN
March 9, 2007

Hitman producer Luc Besson told IGN that Dougray Scott ("Desperate Housewives," Mission: Impossible II) will play Agent 47 in the big screen adaptation of the video game.

Scott will star opposite Timothy Olyphant, who plays Agent 47, a genetically engineered assassin.

The action-adventure, opening October 12, 2007, will be directed by Xavier Gens from a script by Skip Woods.

Besson is producing via his Europa Corp., along with Chuck Gordon and Adrian Askarieh. Daniel Alter co-produces.

Clearly a typo in the article but good casting IMO

Release Date: October 12, 2007 !!!

why why why i really want them to take their time and do the movie not rush into it

More Target Hitman:

Olga Kurylenko (Paris je t'aime), Robert Knepper ("Prison Break"), Ulrich Thomsen (Festen) and Michael Offei (Casino Royale) have joined Timothy Olyphant and Dougray Scott in the Luc Besson-produced video game adaptation Hitman at 20th Century Fox.

Director Xavier Gens begins filming the thriller this week in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. The movie also will be shot in South Africa, Istanbul, St. Petersburg and London.

Besson is producing through his Europa Corp., along with Chuck Gordon and Adrian Askarieh. Daniel Alter is co-producer.

Sounds like they are taking the adaptation seriously and casting some serious actors. Good news.

I still don't see Olymphant as Agent 47, he's far too pretty boy

Hitman is one of the only game to movies so far that could actually hold itself as a real action thriller movie

Eidos Interactive has confirmed that production on the Hitman movie has begun. Filming commenced on March 27 and will continue in and around the Bulgarian capital of Sofia for 12 weeks before moving on to locations in South Africa, St. Petersburg and London.

The game's story centers around an international assassin known only as Agent 47 (Olyphant) who works for a mysterious organization dubbed the Agency. The Hitman videogames have sold in excess of 6 million units worldwide, with the most recent installment, Hitman: Blood Money™ selling 1.4 million units worldwide and reaching No.1 in all key territories.

The movie is being directed by Xavier Gens from a screenplay by Skip Woods (Swordfish) and produced by Luc Besson, Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Adrian Askarieh and Charles Gordon, with Daniel Alter as a co-producer.

The film will be released in France through EuropaCorp Distribution and in the rest of the world through Twentieth Century Fox, a division of Fox Filmed Entertainment.
