Peter Lorre in "Mad Love."

:csad:

Not on Netflix. They don't even have any discs to ship either.

Scream Factory is going to be releasing Ravenous on Blu-ray this year.

Anyone else love this underrated film?

There were no press screenings for Devil's Due so I haven't seen it yet, but people are coming out of the midnight screening and it looks like it might be a bust.

I remember seeing it and thinking it was okay. It's the Windigo right?

The Devil's Due looks ridiculously bad, when the trailer showed at my theater my wife thought it was a spoof film.

I last saw it years ago. I might need to watch it again to appreciate it.

I love the first Wishmaster film. It's a major staple in my horror diet.

There is some cringe-worthy acting and dialogue.... but it's creative as hell, energetic and is a wonderful effects show. The Djinn is an awesome villain up there with Freddy and Chucky imo. I wish the sequels served him better. The whole movie just feels like the entire cast and crew had fun making it. Not to mention all the cool cameos.

I don't think I even seen a commercial for it until this morning. And it wasn't much of a good commercial.

Second one isn't bad either. The rest suck though. The first one has Robert Englund, and he's always awesome. The second is memorable for the guy who gets his wish for his lawyer to screw himself.

Just came back from it now here in the UK. Easily one of the worst horror films ive seen :barf: Good thing i have my unlimited card because paying full price for that piece of **** should be a crime. I'd rather watch the Devil baby prank ,it would of kept you engaged more than this crap

That was both comical and cringe-worthy.

hard to say. whenever it's ondemand, i watch it. but i always come away feeling cheated somehow. and the music is really really irritating. Robert Carlyle gave a really good performance, though.

definately. the entire series is dependent on creative kills/torture anyways. what made the others suck was the lack of Andrew Divoff, imo. and i think they tried to make the Djinn some kind of anti-hero in the last one. guh.

I heard this secondhand and haven't been able to find the source, but one of the guys that worked on Devil's Due said the devil baby prank cost $750,000

Good horror movie. Andrew Divoff was really great in it.

I love the first two Wishmaster films. The cameos in the first one were great. Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, Ted Raimi, Joseph Pilato(played Rhodes in Day of the Dead).

Hahaha! Personally I love the score for Ravenous but over time I've noticed with fans it's a love or hate kind of thing. I don't think I've seen someone in the middle on that one.

So I finally got around to seeing the Lords of Salem remake the other night. Jesus what a disappointment. It dragged on a bit in the beginning but the atmosphere and and basic plot were interesting enough to stay with it. Lots of shots were clearly just Zombie fawning over Sheri, but thankfully they didn't go on too long. I wish we had more of the tenant and her sisters simply because they were the movie's true saving grace for me. And major kudos to Meg Foster for pulling off such a creepy disturbing performance. I feel bad she hasn't aged gracefully considering how beautiful she used to be, but her eyes are still as mesmerizing as ever.
I just felt the movie had a lot of missed oppurtunities to do something more; and that demon baby thing looked horrible, which is weird considering everything else managed to look as disturbing as it needed to.

Alright, I saw Devil's Due. I don't think it's as bad as everyone says it is, but it is horribly generic. And the film does something in the beginning that cannibalizes all of the tension of the climax.

did you see Hell Baby? for some reason, I expect it to be a more satisfying baby demon movie.

Watched this on Netflix earlier today...the very definition of generic.
