Those are usually public domain films, like Night of the Living Dead and Manos: The Hands of Fate.Just need to find one with Christopher Lee on the set. Seems hard to find the Hammer films on those sets here
I think the Hammer films are still under copyright somewhere.
I love watching classics in theater. Last Halloween, a friend and I hit up a midnight movie marathon Halloween night and saw Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, Bride of Frankenstein, Friday the 13th: Part 2, Dracula - Prince of Darkness, and Return of the Living Dead. The theme was sequels. Going back this year for A Nite to Dismember 3 at the Nitehawk, which has a theme of horror throughout the decades. Going to start with Poltergeist (82), House on Haunted Hill (59), a mystery 2000s film (the idea of this frightens me), A Bay of Blood (71) and Scream (96), plus games, contests, drinks, short films, etc. Last year we got out at 9 AM. Only half the audience made it through to morning.I'll be seeing Dracula on Sunday and Halloween in a week at the theater!
Glad I haven't watched that Bay of Blood dvd yet.
