Oh man, I'm inclined to say the same at this point although it's tight. It's certainly my most anticipated movie.
I think it's pretty obvious the next trailer (in January?) will be more action-oriented. Everyone was afraid this was going to look like another Twilight series and it doesn't. Not only that, they didn't play up any of the "romance" in the trailer. They could have used that to their full potential if they wanted to, but they didn't.
I honestly think that, at this point, people can't help but think of Twilight when they see teenage characters. No matter what it is. It's Twilight.
Which is ridiculous, because this looked absolutely nothing like Twilight.
are you referring to a Forrest? The issue (and I'm not saying that there is one yet) is not based on teenage characters. It's the format used for teenage characters.
are you referring to a Forrest?
So I've been doing some investigation.
Looks like we're going to have some flashbacks of Katniss' father.
Also looks like they're including at least a little bit on Lavinia the Avox girl.
They will also certainly feature the hob as the cast list is suggesting.
You know, I have no problem with this. I'm a teacher and I see kids that look like grown adults all the time, especially 17 or 18 year old boys. Me on the other hand? I'm 29 and constantly mistaken for a teenager.![]()
In the teaching profession, I find that if you look young they don't give you the benefit of the doubt you deserve. This is my 8th year teaching now... I think I deserve the credit of a 29 year old!
Anyway, yeah, I think the casting is great for this movie, Katniss and Peeta especially.
I think of how Jennifer Lawrence looks as Katniss and Josh as Peeta, and I really couldn't picture them any other way.
