Yeah I actually just looked at one of the very first Avengers issues moments ago and to my surprise Hulk actually did have some chest and arm hair. It's disappointing to get a redesign but at the same time a little exciting to anticipate a new one.

I think there could be slight differences to the TIH. We have to remember this is a different director. I'd be nice to have the same one, but is the director comfortable with using another vision from a different director? I think Whedon might want to make some personal changes, that works for him more.

I love the way Ruffalo talks about the role. He's really approaching it as a thespian not as a sellout who thought he'd take the role because superheroes were in at the moment. I really love to hear about how he is preparing for it.

Does anyone think that maybe Mark Ruffalo will voice the Hulk as well? Although Lou Ferrigno previously said he would, I can't imagine that if Ruffalo is actually playing the Hulk through motion capture and acting the part that he's just going to be only a motion capture actor and that his voice is going to be dubbed with Lou's. If that were the case, why couldn't Lou Ferrigno have done the motion capture instead? It seems likely that Mark could speak the part and his voice could be changed in post production. So where is there room for Lou?

Personally I'd like them to go without Lou. The guy has had his time as a version of the Hulk, about time they forget that past and move on to delivering us a proper one.

I don't think that's announced yet. Hopefully WETA, though I have a feeling it will be ILM.

Didn't ILM do AngHulk? So they're not infallible. I still trust'em though. But for this job I think I'd trust Weta the most(they have the best track record when it comes to making CGI organic fleshy characters look real). ILM is more the king of making CGI techno-stuff look real.

For those who have followed with the recent interpretations of this, does anyone know why Nick Fury would allow someone as unpredictable, let alone, uncontrollable as the Hulk be a part of the Avengers team when he could provide to be more harmful than helpful if he loses himself in his own rage?

Which has gotten me to wondering, that if Nick Fury wants to recruit the Hulk persona for the group, what makes him think that the Hulk would be more useful than disastrous given the mess that it's made prior to its fight with the abomination?
