Damn you Raimi DDDAAAAMMMNNN you, I owe mr, Richard Roper an apology.
when fiction is hideous, then what??? this is just bad film-making buddy! i think u just want it to be sooo good that a thread called "I Hate Spiderman 3" bothers u.....shouldve thought of that before coming in this thread....yep, fans like you will kill it, guess you guys just take this movies too serious, its all fiction , stop crying about it like a baby who needs to be fed
^^^^i wanna make TOTALLY clear, i dont like people telling me what to like either! i liked X3 and FF while others slammed it, but believe me, u need to MAKE urself like spiderman 3, cause it just misses on everything.....whiff!!!
when i LOVED issues 1 AND 2 then i expect 3 to deliver, u know?? but i'm just lowering the expectations cause its that bad....It was a great movie for the way it was directed. The Movie was a translation of what none of you would complain about if you had it infront of you right now. A COMIC BOOK. That movie was designed to play out almost exactly like a sTeve Ditko and Stan Lee era 1960's 1970's Spider-Man mag.
Thats what made me love it.
but the end was a disappointment. that I will indeed say.
but guess what.
This is only issue number 3.....
get me?
Venom was never Evil nor was he perverse. Learn about the character you speak of before you complain about the characterization.Gosh, I could go on and on about the many purposely missed opportunities with Venom. Raimi got the character so WRONG it wasn't even funny. I thought Topher was a HORRIFIC Venom, he couldn't get the perverse, dark and evil characterization down pat. Even as Eddie Brock I thought he came up short.
AND THAT VOICE!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SERIOUSLY PISSED!!!
There should have been WE's after he became Venom but again I know it was a Raimi giving us a big "F--- YOU!" to us Venom fans.
.

Can't argue with that. But, what if it's not planned for Spider-Man to be a trilogy?when i LOVED issues 1 AND 2 then i expect 3 to deliver, u know?? but i'm just lowering the expectations cause its that bad....
yea....i saw the premiere and i thought i was hallucenating at times lol but like i said, see it cause its spiderman, but jus dont expect too much from the storySylabdul, don't mind that guy. This always happens. "If you don't like something then there's something wrong with you" type people. People don't like things for a lot of reasons. Entertaining means a lot of different things. Batman should never be fully lighthearted. I'm seeing the movie today, but it seems that Raimi really didn't understand meaning of Venom. He said he wasn't a fan of the character and maybe he never fully understood the idea of how the suit was suppose to affect Peter.
Again, I mean... seriously? Are you kidding me?
1. Why the flip did the Symbi-"OAT" stick to the costume, but not to Peter? HE TOOK IT OFF AND PUT IN IN A TRUNK! Are we supposed to believe the alien was sleeping until he put that particular costume back on? It should have melded with him in the same vein as Eddie = coming out of his pores, eyes, finger nails and what not. Weak.
2. Why not have a 30 second scene where Eddie acknowledges his newfound partner (a telepathic conversation out loud maybe similar to Doc Ock talking to his limbs) rather than having us accept that this pathetic failed reporter gets covered in ooze and unflinchingly becomes Spidey's most formidable Super Villain! Yeah right! In the comics we're left to assume that Eddie spent months with the Symbiote before encountering Spider-man as Venom. The symbiote talked to him revealing they shared a mutual hatred. This weak plot was poorly executed and quick.
3. Why were there posters showing Sandman carrying a stuffed toy as if the relationship with a child would be a relevant plot point? His character added little more than eye candy and if you really get down to it, that's why everyone walks away disappointed from this.
Spider-man 2 may be hands down the best superhero flick ever. A smart, well fleshed out drama with awesome special effects that made you believe Spider-man could be real for a little over 2 hours. His character (aside from lacking true witty banter) truly embodied what made the comics classic. But for reasons that can only be assumed as a desire to deceive in an effort to sell masses of movie tickets, what do we get? Lumped together pieces of action sequences in favor of any sort of decent plot development. Point Blank... EYE CANDY!!! WEAK!!!

He could take it off in the comics, until it started to bond with him. Soo... you can't beat up on them for sticking to the comics. It was a terrible film. It seemed as if the CGI kept it interesting. There were so many awkward moments that were unneccessary. Symbiote Spiderman should have been more harsh, not emo. But all of you know that. When it showed Emo Peter in a blur before the fistfight with Harry in the mansion, everybody, including me, in the theatre just bust out laughing because of how ridiculous he obviously looked. He even swayed his hair back with his head. WOW. -_____-
The trailers made this look so good with so much potential. Too bad, it was the total opposite. Oh, and I hate how Peter could TAKE OFF the symbiote suit, and it would just stay there/not move. That's retarted. How can a latex suit make someone more quick/powerful/do stupid dances? They should have exemplified the symbiote's power more. (ie. morph into streetclothes, form onto Peter's body, retract, etc.) WAY too many clips/trailers were shown. Even though that is wholeheartedly my fault for viewing them. I pretty much knew all of the dialogue in the entire film.
1) uhhh because thats how it happened in the comics. Read up on the source material.
3) You're complaining because of his poster??? Seriously?
Eye candy....true enough. Sadly.
1) Thats not how it happened in the comics, Peter was able to morph the symbiote into the costume whenever he wanted he didnt jus put it on and take it off.1) uhhh because thats how it happened in the comics. Read up on the source material.
2)Agreed. Though they hinted at his acceptance with implications. His smirk before being totally enveloped was obvious.

thank you for saying EXACTLY what i was thinkingNO are YOU serious? If you had read the source material, you'd know that the symbiote didn't attatch to his suit. It WAS his suit! It replaced his costume and more than that became a part of his being... it stayed inside him. It never ceases to amaze me, the arrogant lip that comes from a tool who thinks he knows something. And yes my complaint IS that "I" found the poster to be misleading along with the presentation of the trailers as well.
Shhh! No, No! Just don't speak and we won't have to feel ashamed for you.

Wow some of you people dont know jack ****, the symbiote being a "costume" that he could take on and off happened in the comics. Anyone have that scan of when Peter enters his apartment and we see the symbiote "costume" on his chair, then suddenly it goes to his body?
In the comics he was never able to take the symbiote off until the ff helped him out so he would jus morph the symbiote into different suitsand attire. correct me if im wrongWow some of you people dont know jack ****, the symbiote being a "costume" that he could take on and off happened in the comics.
