Lol I have the exact opposite opinion... Better than 2 not as good as 1.

I just couldn't get behind 2 at all I hated it the first time I watched it than the second time I watched it I found that it was really good if I skip about 30 - 40 mins of it lol. To each his own. Alot of people seemed to like 2 so I am the minority on that one.

kraven would fit perfectly into the story , think about it, peter trying to help lizard , while kraven is trying to hunt down the lizrad and kill him, how simple could that be

Difficult to do both justice that they deserve. Check the sig to see how I was going to encorporate the hunter in the 'deleted scenes'.

I absolutely loved this movie and i hope Sam and Tobey, Kirsten etc. come back for more. The acting was way better than in 1 + 2 and i loved the comedy in it!

This film is way too underrated IMO, but i guess that doesnt matter now if you take a look at the box office records...

to be fair SM3 has had mixed reviews I've seen PLENTY of good reviews for spider-man 3 and from good sources, like empire for example.

SM3 is easily the best comic book movie ever made.

Do you realize that everytime I hear you say this...I almost faint. Sense you seem to despise almost everything about Spidey 1 and especially SM2. Never did I ever think that you would end up liking SM3, or any Spidey film by Sam Raimi.

OMG that scene was brilliant. Everyone in my theatre was pissing themselves laughing at that. It's just that face Peter makes, brilliance!!!

And i loved Spider-man 3. I'm really quite shocked at the huge backlash among the hardcore fans here.

By "hardcore fans", I assume you mean fanboys. Personally I'm not suprised. Anyone who remembers that stupid NoOrganicWebShooters.com website knows that the fanboys have way too much time on their hands.

For those of us who understand that the movie can't be exactly like the comics, and just want to see a faithful interpretation of the character, love the movies.

Exactly. If this was the other way around then it would be incredibly bad for the film. However if the critics hate it and the public love it then that is what counts.

"Spider-Man 3" is without a doubt the most interesting spidey movie of them all... And after three viewings I can honnestly say that it's my favorite! The themes present in "3" are far superior than the ones in the previous movies. The film is not perfect, but it's still the best of the three!... **** the critics!!!

It took me awhile to process all that happened in this movie. I advise people who didn't like it at first to look deeper. It actually improved upon a 2nd viewing and now I can say I absolutely LOVED IT! In fact, I plan on seeing it for the 5th time next weekend!

I had a few expectations to let go of and a few silly nits to pick after I saw it the first time... what was with the jerky camera work, the action was hard to follow, why Gwen, why did "bad" Peter's hair have to look so stupid, why didn't they tone down the whole John Travolta/dance scene, *groan* why didn't he go out web slinging at the end?!
But you know what? After I saw it for a 2nd and 3rd time (with different friends at an IMAX theatre) the POWER of the film's messages and the DELIGHT of seeing Spidey in such glorious, high flying, vertigo-inducing action, made, those superficial things that bugged me at first just fade away.

Sure, this film didn't leave me with the same feeling of exhilaration that got me so addicted to Spider-Man 2, but 3 is powerful in a different way.

People have criticized the film for having too much in it, and I was skeptical at first myself, but they really DO pull it off very effectively. The volley between the characters and their stories, the action and drama WORKED well considering how much was going on.

The main story is not so much about the villains but about PETER and his battle within against pride, anger, revenge and then finding/giving forgiveness... and ultimately about how our choices define us.

I LOVE that this movie had a great message that really SPOKE to me... and the action DAZZLED me.

Bravo Spidey 3!

This movie was very good in my first viewing, but great with my second. I understood the movie even better after watching it, and I love this movie. I do think a few things could have been done to improve it, but it still works.

I personally loved it and I think it's pathetic how people seem to hate it so much. It was the best out of the three. Yes, it could have been better, but it was still a great film. People just expected way too much out of it or went in with how they think it should happen rather than seeing what does happen.

I loved it and it couldn't have been any better than that. I love the story and the action. It was the comic come to life to me. Sandman was great and probably the best of the villains. I really didn't like Harry as a goblin but its ok. Venom wasn't bad at all and better than I thought it be. I can't wait to see when Sm 4 is going to happen.
