I also work Black Friday, but my shift is 3:30pm - 12am as the Cart Attendant.

since you work at target, maybe you will know:

are the target black friday sales strictly in-store, or online that day too?

6 hours wont be too bad for me on Black Friday, and yay for me, it's also my payday.

i'll be getting off at noon and i'm anticipating a VERY slow day cuz i dont see many people buying groceries on friday

Same here. I just got my schedule today. Apparently I'm working from 2am to 10am. That's a bit of a cakewalk for me.

My girlfriend works at Toys R Us. She works from Thursday at 11pm to Friday morning at 7.

Me, I work at Macy's. Men's Polo department. Where tshirts cost $200. I'm scheduled to open and then work until 1pm I think. I get my lunch break at 8, hahaha.

yeah i work at a Commissary which is linked with a NEX (navy exchange). we were slammed today, and most likely will be for the rest of the week til Thanksgiving.

i just found out ill be getting paid for turkey day, so yay me

I'm on vacation from thanksgiving till the following monday thank god. I will be amoung the crazy masses on black friday but i dont usually hit the malls till around 4pm and i'm always nice to the store workers, I do what they do so I know how it feels.

I work at a fast food place, but its not til later in the day so it should be cool. from 4pm to 9pm.

Everyone should be in bed then from being up so early.

I just found out that I will be working a double shift at my restaurant on Black Friday.

People better tip.

With Black Friday over and done with, now comes the infamous Saturday and Sunday after sale. Most of the same crap is on sale, but it's long gone and it's time to spend the entire day telling customers "We sold out on Friday." Seriously, people who wonder if store still have crap on Saturday and Sunday are some of the worst procrastinators on Earth.

"Eh, I'm not waking up at 3am to get in line for that. I'll just wait until Saturday afternoon and assume they'll still have plenty in stock." And the complete and utter shock on their faces when they find out it's all gone... it's just amazing. It's like they don't even know what Black Friday is.

I went in at 6 and got off at noon. Our building is adjoined with a store that opened at 5. People assumed we were open too and kept trying to get the door between the store open. I had to make a sign to go along with the sign on the door that no one was reasing.

When we did open at 830 we were dead. It was super slow.

Turns out that the target deal I wanted was in-store only and since I was at work I had given up on that idea. But lo and behold my friend showed up at work with one for me! He had gone to pick up a flat screen for 250 and saw one left and remembered me talking about wanting one and having to work. So I paid him the 60 bucks and got the 1 black friday deal I wanted.

So i was at my target last night... and they were out of a picture frame, and this woman was looking for it too and had just asked an employee, and they aparently said they'd get some in by 5 tomorrow (today), im assuming that meant AM right? but all the target flyers say saturday they open at 8am.... any help?
