I know it's probably too early, but being that Thanksgiving is just around the corner is anyone planning on doing any shopping on the day after; maybe look for some good deals?

I would if I wasn't always broke by the time the day rolls around.

I plan on shopping that day. My goal for the day is a digital camera and a Blu-Ray player. Along with various DVDs, Action Figures, and Clothes if they're on sale.

I feel for the parents who have to stand on line trying to get the "Christmas Present of "Insert Year Here". From Elmos, to Wii's, there's always something that poor parents have to stand in front of TRU at 3:00 am.

I wonder what the must have gift will be this year?

I did all my shopping already :o

sleep? :woot:

That's all I'm doing on Black Friday, been out in those crowds several time and have no intention trying to fight in that mad house again

A couple decent websites for Black Friday sales are bfads.net and blackfriday.info

Your best bet for a Blu-ray player is the Sony BDP-S350. It is by far the best player that will be on sale on Black Friday. Sears will have it for $180 on BF and K-Mart (maybe Sears Essentials, but not sure) will have it for the same price on Thanksgiving day. Depending on what Digicam you want, I know either Office Max or Office Depot will have the Nikon Cool Pix with a free printer for $120 bucks. You should look on bfads.net if you haven't yet.

For me, this BF is kind of the suck, the sales are horrid. I'm only going to go and pick up a few TV shows on DVD and maybe one or two Blu-ray's (which the sales for aren't even that hot). Also may pick up a game or two. Some of that will be for gifts though. But it's pretty meh at the moment. I was hoping for better sales than what the stores are providing.

Gonna try to find "Guitar hero:world tour"

You should be able to find it, although I doubt you'd find a "deal" on it. I was hoping for some kind of deal on the Rock Band 2 set, but doesn't seem like that is happening. :csad:

I was gonna go out. but as of late i haven't been getting any work hours, so I can forget that then.:csad:

You want the band kit, guitar kit, or game? The latter is very hard to find. My Target had 1 for PS3 and 2-3 for 360 so I'd suggest checking there. Guitar kits and the game itself are easy to find. As said though, you aren't going to find a deal. I highly recommend looking for the game before Thanksgiving while you still have a chance of finding it in stores.

I refuse to do that early morning thing. I went the other year with my sister in law to get her a computer and I said never again.

I may go later in the day or the Saturday after, but never that early morning stuff. people are friggin' crazy.

I may go later in the day if something catches my eye in one of the ads, but I definitely wouldn't get up early to go.

There's a Circut City Liquidating down the street from my house, and BF is Payday, so 2+2= New Samsung 1080p 37 inch. Maybe a Blu-Ray DVD Player.

But, I don't plan on getting out until 12.

Comic book store is having a 40% off graphic novels. Going to get the absolute Watchmen and maybe some other stuff.

I'm hoping XBox 360s go on sale being that I've been trying to get one for the longest time.

They're already $200. Doubt you'll see a price lower than that.

i've got a five hour drive the day after, so i don't think so

I know one place is going to have the $200 X-Box Arcade with a 20 gig harddrive and controller or something like that. Forgot where though.

Don't be so sure, you just need to know where to look and have the right connections

Do you know what price the Blu-Ray player will be at Best Buy? Sears could definitely work since my mom works there and she can get me a discount on top of the sale. As for Digicams...I'm not sure what I'm looking for yet. My sister and I are still trying to figure that out.

I just usually go for cheap dvds. I remember i got alot of them for like 5 dollars or less at walmart and the mall.
