Same color eyes and punisher, similar bad ass look, and on cover of the issue where Spidey is getting his ass beat it shows him holding a semi-automatic wpn with black pants on. Also he is wearing a trench coat in the above pick, a black one at that. Not to count he was promised an awesome intro and Spiderman does know him and well enough at that to give that surprised a look.
-He could be Nick Fury, but this fellow have two eyes. You can argue that Nick got himself a mechanical eye.
It possibly could be fury, but I have a feeling it's not. Ppl have been guessing Fury forever and thought he might be the new DD even. Plus are Fury's eyes even blue?
-He could be Hawkeye. The strongest argument is, where have he been?
Why would Hawkeye use a gun instead of a bow? I mean I understand wanting to keep the fans guessing and a bow would be a dead give away, but why show him holding a gun at all? The gun symbolizes something, and I can only think of one person above all others known for using guns in the MU.
-He could be J.J Jameson, he is so pissed with Peter that he himself become the very thing he despises, masked vigilante. Ohh, this will make a good comic, THE EDITOR!
I don't remember J.J being that buff, and can't see a reason on Earth he would be stalking out around Cap. America and giving him that look. He doesn't just show up to save Spidey, he also is see by Cap. giving a menacing look. Plus I just can't see J.J jumping in shooting those villains like a hero, I mean it'd be a hellova moment, but I just can't see it.
I won't argue that, could be. One thing tho if someone could clear it up, I know he lost the suit but I thought it was killing him to not have it. Would he be strong enough to save Spidey? Awhile back ppl were giving him a year to live, but I never read anything on it so not sure.
At any rate he's not pointing the gun at Spidey, but looks more like either it's slightly raised but still pointed at the ground, or it's pointed at Venom. Punisher was origionally a Spiderman villain, so would be fitting for him to save Spiderman like that. Plus I can just see Punisher going crazy on them in some bad ass war zone shooting fest, hope it's him and if not can't wait for him to enter the CW

Not to count the Hype boards are 10 in 10 for guessing these 'secrets'. Most have been incredibly predictable and the fact that most ppl say it's him most likely means, again, that their right. Not to count first time I saw that pic Punisher pop'd into mind and no one else.
